This sums up how I feel about the show.

I actually had to check the username a few times to make sure I hadn't posted the response myself.

I especially hated what they did with the Irene Adler character, and I also thought the portrayal of Moriarty was OTT much of the time.

Wendersfan is a lot of things, but he's not stupid enough to cross his own timestream. And the fact that you suggest he might tells me he's not you from the future.

He could have gotten drunk and acciddentally crossed the streams.

How so? Supermallet crossdresses, Solid Snake cusses like a 10-year-old who just discovered foul language, and wendersfan parties like he was Peter O'Toole. That's the way it's always been.

Look, DVD Talk operates under strict linear rules of time. Not even the mods can get around that.

If you discover how, let me know. We can go back in time, step on a butterfly, and create a world where all of the correct things are popular.

Yeah, sure, first it's step on a butterfly, next it's "Let's kill Hitler!"

And we all know how that turns out, don't we?

Fine then, let's just buy a bunch of Silver Age comics and bring them back to the present and sell them on eBay.

Yes. Someone ends up losing a tuna sandwich and nagging us endlessly about it.

Dunno.

I'd rather watch on my TV then on my laptop.

I'll just wait for it to find it's way online.

Re: Sherlock (BBC/PBS) Series Thread

Just remembered that it's broadcast in 25 fps in the UK. That might cause some problems.
