So I wonder if one of the "rules" stipulate that children cannot be part of the game. Or maybe they're more of a lophole than adults? Could explain why the children were taken to the temple. It could also explain some of the significance people place on Aaron.

Anyone else tired of the "mystery character" thing they do on this show where they show someone from behind (or from the side) for a few seconds and we only hear their voice and are clearly supposed to wonder who it is? Especially when it's always Ben? :D
And on a seperate note, Sawyer is no dummy. I think he's playing smokie big time and working his greatest con of all time. |

It's not an alternate reality, Cuse/Lindy have said as much in several interviews.

*that's another big Stephen King thing, come to think of it and it also ties into the Dark Tower.

Why would someone as lucky, wealthy, and large as Hurley be sitting in coach on an international flight?

Ben's voice is so distinctive, too. It was hilarious.

I don't think that Locke would have seen Hurley on the flight. He's in a wheelchair, so he was probably the first to board and we saw for a fact that he was the last to deplane. |

Aaron as a three year old being the kid just doesn't work. My thought is that there is a third entity/person on the island and this is the first encounter with him.
Maybe it's Jacob Jr.? |

I agree with the Aaron statement. But I'm sticking with the kid being "little Jacob". Mainly since the kid also has blonde hair and speaks with MiB about the island rules. Other than that, no idea...
Maybe it's Jacob Jr.? |

Or maybe there is a cycle that these characters repeat. I read somewhere that someone mentioned the Hawkman and how he and his wife were made to live their lives over and over again in different bodies but retaining all memories good and painful from previous lives. Maybe this is some incarnation of that.
