Really? That's cool. I've said before that Craig should have him on.

Re: The Craig Ferguson Appreciation Thread
Another brilliant week of shows as always.
Sid the cursing rabbit puppet might be one of my favorite TV characters of all-time.
Sid: "By the way I'd just like to apologize for swearing earlier. I'd like to apologize but I'm not going to fucking do it."
Sid: "I'm sorry I'm a bit shy. I'm just fucking with ya!"
Geoff Peterson: "Mr. Ferguson, put away your toys."
when Dennis and Craig were playing with the puppets.
Craig Ferguson: "Sometimes only a cuss word will do."

Re: The Craig Ferguson Appreciation Thread
The Saffron Burrows interview was so fun. She and Craig have a great chemistry. Always delighted when she's on the show.
I absolutely love how some people are so taken aback by Craig's style. I loved Mark Ruffalo talking the other night after Craig said they were out of time: "Did I talk about the thing?" Craig really doesn't care about what they're there to promote; if it can be worked in, that's fine, but it's not the questions they've been asked 1000 times or the spiel they've prepared. He just wants to "talk". (Which, theoretically, should be the purpose behind a talk show, no?)
(BTW, I'm just about done with "American on Purpose" and absolutely love it. I wish he'd do another one, more focused on his time after being sober. It seems rather glossed over, at least in comparison to the BS time.)

FYI: On Sunday, Craig will appear live online on the Kevin Pollak Chat Show at 6pm ET/3pm PT. It's a long-form interview show, so it should be really good.
Sid is rapidly passing Wavy as my favorite puppet.

Re: The Craig Ferguson Appreciation Thread
Craig needs to get a show for his puppets! If Warren the Ape can get a show, then Wavy, Sid and the other puppets need their show!

You should take a listen to the current "The Nerdist" podcast (free on Itunes) which has Craig as one of the guests, and he discusses rather candidly why he does what he does on the show (initially, as a form of self sabotage).
Plus it's uncensored, so no "tutsi frutsi" anywhere to be heard

Sid: "If I don't get a fucking Emmy this year it'll be a rip-off."

Sid: "The minute the cops start arresting eagles then rabbits will pay tax."Possibly the greatest thing ever said last night:
Sid: "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to upset anyone that writes in. People who in... but remember if you're writing into a television station complaining about a rabbit, because the rabbit swears on TV at 1:00 in the morning. It's not really about a rabbit is it? Come on! Admit it! It's not really about me or cussing, it's your fucking problem. I know, you're like no, no I, I'm a tax payer and I'm like so am I well I don't normal.

I love when Craig has chefs on the show. That fucking chef hat Geoff was wearing!

Craig: "I think I got some fish stuck in my hole."

Craig: "What's happened here is that when I started wearing sneakers young people all over America have decided I am their profit."

Craig: "Sorry for swearing in front of Justin Bieber."

Geoff: "Craig, let's work in some tweet mails."

Geoff: "Again with the sick mind."

Yep. I always DVR Craig and I just happened to click on Jimmy's show in time to see him do the spaghetti thing. I didn't really get it, but when he mentioned Craig I figured they would pick it up on Craig's show.

Re: The Craig Ferguson Appreciation Thread
That was fucking great!I love how Craig brings on guests and talks pretty dirty with them and when he brings someone on that has something he's interested in he's so interested in whatever it is. He thought that fan was fucking awesome when James Dyson showed him it.
Craig knows what a talk show should be about. Talking! I've seen the upcoming project on commercials or the internet. I don't need to hear the guest talk about this movie that's already in theatres or TV show that they're in. He has a clip of what the guest is in before the guest comes out and then they talk about stuff. Guests always have a good time on the show and the viewer enjoys the interviews instead of turning the channel after the first 20-25 minutes because the guest is coming on the show to talk about their upcoming project for 10 minutes. I want to laugh and have some fun. I don't want a one hour commercial every night. Craig thinks what the viewer is thinking and says it.

It was announced tonight that next week James Dyson, the man who created the ball vacum cleaner with the proper amount of suction, will be a guest.
