Well put. I had one very conservative friend who thought this way until he actually witnessed the change in me once I got on anti-depressants. It just confirmed by hypothesis that the strongest beliefs against something are typically held by people with no actual experience with the subject.
I think for some people it takes seeing it before they can accept it.

I really hate this excuse but if parents have curtain beliefs and they put it in their children's heads; the kid will think this is the "right" way to think.

When your an adult you make your own choices and don't give me the my parents believed or did that so I'll do it too. I was mentally and physically abused by my grandma for my entire childhood. I'm 19 now and I am nothing like her. I hate to see a child get hit and being told how useless he or she is. I never had a childhood and it breaks my heart to see other kids not getting one either because of abusive parents.

Geoff is the greatest!

Geoff Peterson: "That got me right on the funny bone."

It was great to see Donald Glover stop by for tweets and e-mails.

Donald Glover: "How black was mom. Like seriously?"
Craig Ferguson: "Pretty black."
Craig Ferguson: "Like 100%"

Re: The Craig Ferguson Appreciation Thread

Craig Ferguson: "Anyway, the network executives think that if the characters on the TV show have sex with each other the ratings go up."
Craig Ferguson: "That's probably what we should do here. What do you say, Geoff?"
Geoff Peterson: "Sorry, that's not in my contract, Craig."
Craig Ferguson: "The robot is going to sue me for sexual harassment isn't he?"
Geoff Peterson: "You said it, Craig!"
Craig Ferguson: "Shut up, Geoff!"

I loved Geoff's reaction to Craig talking about giving himself a prostate exam: "Say it ain't so, Craig!"

Craig Ferguson: "Shut up, Geoff!"
Craig Ferguson: "I'm practicing a new catch phrase."
Craig Ferguson: "Shut up, Geoff!"

I rarely laugh aloud at things I read online, but I literally did so at this. Well played, Drav3n!

Re: The Craig Ferguson Appreciation Thread

I loved Craig talking about farewell tours and him talking about how many Sinatra has had and how you would never tell him to stop touring and I was so hard when he started singing "I've got you under my house!"

Geoff Peterson: "You talkin' to me?"
Craig Ferguson: "No, there's another skeleton. Yeah, I'm talkin' to you!"
Geoff Peterson: "Geoff get confused."

I would definitely watch that sitcom Wavy and Geoff are going to pitch to NBC.

Glad to see Craig's sticking with his skeleton robot. Haven't seen the show in a while, but thought Geoff was tops!

Really? I was disappointed. She seemed stuck in Press Tour mode, and never really seemed to relax the way most of the stand-out guests do. Lauren Graham is the only actress I can think of who can be that hyper and remain interesting across from Ferguson. I shouldn't be so hard on her; it's just that I feel like we've been spoiled by some very solid interviews.

Michael Sheen is always a great interview, and definitely one of my favorite Ferguson guests. Plus he was married to Kate Beckinsale!

Me too; I always enjoy it when people point out Craigs problem.
Her voice seemed a bit hoarse though.

Was he on last night? I missed it. Sheen is one of Craig's guests who just goes with it. It's more like watching a couple of old buddies shootin' the shit and bein' silly which is great.

The only things I know about Shirley Manson are that she was/is the lead singer of Garbage, which in turn I only knew because they did the theme song for The World Is Not Enough (and I, for one, loved the sound of that song!), and that in addition to having a weird, yet sexy, kiss with a robotic duplicate of herself in that song's music video...she's Scottish. That is the entirety of what I have learned about the woman in more than a decade.

Loved the Shirley Manson interview. I'm also glad Craig has brought back the puppets.

This was a great week of shows - the monologues, the interviews...everything.

I love those damn puppets!

The bunny was awesome!

"Any show with a bunny on it shouldn't get fined by the FCC."

"The FCC don't like bunnies."

Craig is saying cheeky monkeys again!
