I really enjoy Victorious the times I've seen it so it was fun seeing the actress here.
This was a great episode in terms of tone. It's definitely good to see Peter and Neal work alongside each other without all of that dramatic retread of past events.

"Elizabeth Burke, FBI"
Fun episode, but I didn't like the dude from True Blood as the villian of the week. He was pretty blah. It was good to see them give Elizabeth an episode with alot of substance.
at Peter struggling to eat the healthy food during dinner.
Mrs. Suit in the trenchcoat at the end.

Very fun episode. It was nice to see Neal and Sara work together and be civil. There is obviously still alot of sexual tension between them. I've always thought that Hilarie Burton was hot, but she needs to some hamburgers with fries. She's a toothpick.Interesting timing with this episode after the Prop 8 thing here in California making news across the country and then Diana mentions that she and Christie are getting married....even though it is in New York.
I read Jeff Eastin's Twitter page and he said that Tim DeKay had to take a reduced role in this episode because he was prepping directing episode 15, which airs in 2 weeks.

This was probably my least favorite episode from the show with the final minute being the only redeeming part.
I figured DeKay had a smaller role for some reason, but what exactly does he have to prep to direct an upcoming episode? That's weak right there. Plenty of actors have directed episodes of shows they're in and I don't recall them taking reduced roles to prep. Larry Hagman directed various episodes of Dallas and never took a reduced role to "prep".

I'm assuming Dekay has to work with the writers to tweak the script, help cast guest stars, location scout, work with his DP to set up the type of shots he wants to use, storyboard the script which helps him set up his shots.

Good episode. I imagine we'll be seeing Taylor (the con-man) again--he'll make a good rival for Neal at some point.
Some nice background on Peter. I wish we could have heard the full conversation between Neal and Sara as they talked about their pasts!
So Mozzie tipped off Taylor? I wonder how much Taylor knows now about what Mozzie and Neal were planning. One of the things about this show that's hardest to believe is that Neal and Mozzie aren't already known to all the rest of the criminal world as rats for the FBI. I know there was a line or two in this episode to confirm that Neal's cover is intact, but it seems like there are too many people who know the truth for that to be realistic.

It was a good episode, but I wanted to point out a major inaccuracy with the whole baseball setup at Yankee stadium.
When Taylor handed Neal the check for $160K, it was dated March 7, 2012. Anyone who knows baseball should know that it's still Spring training during that timeframe and the Yankees are still in Florida. Yankee stadium would not be open.
And yes, it was blatantly obvious that Mozzie tipped off Taylor. I think he will probably return next season as another nemesis to Neal and Peter.
at the Peter Burke rookie card.

I'd also like to see that superthief return in the future.
The case-of-the-week episodes are my favorite. Really enjoyed this one.
He backdated the check for tax reasons?
...yeah, I got nuthin'. Nice catch.

Is anyone caught up? Or are you all way behind? I noticed that I was the only one who talked about last week's episode. Last episode until this summer.

I'm watching! Lots of tense moments in this one. Pretty big development at the end--I wonder how they'll reset things next season.

Excellent season finale. It was nice to see Peter have Neal's back. They've always had a certain mutual distrust, but when push comes to shove, they show faith in each other. It's one of the more interesting relationships on TV. I liked how Peter came up with a last second solution to save Neal.
I'll be interested to see how they bring back Neal now. He seems past the point of no return.

Awesome season finaleAgree with everything Fist of Doom just said.
This show always manages to find very creative ways to re-set itself and keep things fresh.
The chase sequences with Neal and the FBI were really exciting.
Very creative plan by Sara and Peter with the painting.
at Peter, than Sara's boss taking away the $1200 check. It's going to be interesting to see what happens now that Neal is a fugitive.

Re: White Collar -- Season Finale -- "Judgment Day" -- 2/28/12
Finally caught up (was lagging behind a bit); a pretty solid season and I really liked the last few episodes.
I figured they would end the season with the cliffhanger on the commutation decision, but I thought they did some nice twists at the end, which should make the start of next season interesting.
My only issue with him taking off is how they set it up... what did they say they were going to charge Neal with before he fled? Was it public endangerment? I'm surprised they didn't go after him for violating the range on his anklet, which would have forced Peter to lie or tell the truth on why he approved it (and if he was simply authenticating the painting why did he go where he did?)

^Yeah, it was public endangerment and a couple of other minor offenses. Kramer was going to use them as a reason Neal shouldn't lose the ankle bracelet, and to show that Peter wasn't doing a good job controlling Neal. That way he could Neal reassigned to him in D.C.
One thing I was unclear on, was Kramer figured he could uncover some of Neal's past crimes, and keep him in D.C. permanently with threat of serious prison time. I'm not sure why he thought working alongside Neal would help him dig up old dirt.

I didn't understand if Kramer was going to arrest Neil at the couthouse at the very end, instead of waiting for him there, why not just use the tracker on his ankle bracelet? I guess that would have yielded a different ending.

Sorry buddy, that's right you did along with Cellar Door. Your definitely not chopped liver.
