Re: "Shark Tank" (ABC) - Series Thread

Last night's episode was actually new, even though my channel guide said it was a repeat. Luckily, I was scrolling through the channels last night and happened to catch it. Loved the drama at the end with the broom guy, great stuff!

Yeah, the thing with Kevin O & Damon was great, but not sure about the guy saying that he wore the pants in the family, especially since he is a stay at home dad. Seemed kinda odd. I'd buy one of those brooms.

Cube's hose offer. Love when the fireman pulled that connector out of his pocket and how everything changed.

Could Cuban be a bigger douche? I love how after his initial offering that pissed off the rest of the group, he backed down quite a bit thereafter.

I don't care how old, real, whatever the offers are, it's entertaining as hell.

Yeah, Cuban is a megadouche, but he brings some life to that end of the panel.

The infomercial guy has been surprisingly active lately.

I had to at Kevin's offer to the changeable shoe lady. Give up half her equity, and all he's going to do is hire a banker to sell the company. She could do that herself.

He has been. The shoe idea was quite clever. I'm really surprised Barbara didn't make an offer.

Re: "Shark Tank" (ABC) - Series Thread

As soon as we saw that episode with the interchangeable shoes, my wife had to go online to find the company. It really is a smart idea.

I liked the cat toilet training idea as well, but you really don't need to buy her seat for it. Just stick a litter box under the toilet seat and remove it after a few days. It can be done...

My wife was all over the shoes as well. As for the cat thing, I think that if it actually works and they can convince people of that, they could move a lot of those.

Seriously. This was one of my favorite pitches out of all the shows that use this format.

He certainly got a pretty huge deal - but I wonder how good it was. Assuming those patents take off, the value will be far more than $1.25 million. But he did get the 7.5% royalty.

Last two episodes have been great - it's good to see actual companies on this show for once. The first few episodes seemed mostly like little knick knacks and services that no one was taking seriously.

Agreed. As a cat owner, I know it would make life a lot easier to just have have the kitties doing their business straight into the toilet.

Yes! Can't wait. Only reality show on TV I'll watch.

Anyone know if the Canadian and British versions are still airing new episodes?

He's awesome on this show. Love how he always goes over the top on Kevin and Robert. The Cubes/Damon vs. Robert/Kevin showdown at the end was great. I'm not sure what the big deal about that business was since Vegas has so many of those VIP pre-purchase deals already.

The water bottle idea was great. Surprised nobody had ever thought of that.

at the funeral idea.

Re: "Shark Tank" (ABC) - Series Thread

Are there people out there who actually have a difficult time washing water bottles? Seriously?

I must be a fucking genius because I can wash them just as easily as I can wash dinner plates, cereal bowls, and coffee cups.

Re: "Shark Tank" (ABC) - Series Thread

yeah, that EZ Vip thing sounded cool in theory, but there are already places like that. The water bottle thing was interesting. He was selling them for $5 each, but if you look at the guy's site it's buy 3 for $30, get 1 for free. jacked up the price!
