I wish this show got more "play" on here. I think it's the comicly absurd show on TV. After the plushies last week, episode five got even funnier.
"Elder Love"
"Other than the cumming in my pants all the time, I used to be pretty normal"
"That erection you felt against your leg was unintentional."

It was great seeing Casey Wilson and Rene Auberjenois on this last episode. Seeing Casey Wilson as a sex crazed ex-girlfriend just made me love her all the more.

Agreed, this show has been fun this season (arguably its best, imo). George, Jonathan and Ray make a great trio.

Jonathan Ames and Dean Haspiel (the inspiration for Ray) are friends in real life. Not sure if there's a basis for George.

It really is a fun show. Odd and quirky characters and stories, and it's got personality.
I feel like I want to be there with them on their adventures (much like George admitted to Johnathan).
I always thought Casey Wilson was cute/hot... but she was smoking hot in the latest episode.

I just hope it gets renewed. If not then hopefully can live a long and happy life with his half-sister.

HBO’s noir comedy series Bored To Death, which ended its three-season run in Nov. 2011, is getting an unlikely second act — a potential feature treatment. HBO Films has put in development a Bored To Death theatrical movie written by the series creator/executive producer, author Jonathan Ames. While it had a relatively narrow appeal and attracted modest audiences, the Bored To Death series quickly achieved a cult status and developed devoted following by a group of core fans. It also boasted one of the strongest casts assembled on a TV show with three actors who all have carried a theatrical movie: Jason Schwartzman as struggling novelist-turned-amateur sleuth Jonathan Ames, Zach Galifianakis as Joathan’s comic book artist best friend Ray, and Ted Danson as Jonathan’s womanizing, pot-loving mentor George.
The movie will feature the same characters — Jonathan, Ray, and George — as they reunite to fight crime, commit crime, lose their minds, and fail-at-love in what is described as a Bored to Death feature-length slapstick adventure. The film is in very early stages, and there are no deals in place with Schwartzman, Galifianakis and Danson but the actors have expressed their fondness for the show and desire to reprise their roles. Ames executive produces the feature project with Sarah Condon and Stephanie Davis.

That having been said, I do not have high hopes that this will happen.

Bored to Death cancellation is one of my biggest tv blows.
My nerd dream is HBO, especially with HBO Go being a massive success, would spend a little time on giving each show that didn't get a proper conclusion a tv movie (similar to Hello Ladies). And off hand HBO does not have a lot of shows that would require this except for BtD, Deadwood, and maybe one or two I can't recall that would make it worth it (either bc of ratings or following created after cancellation) and really need it.

I didn't watch Looking, but I can't think of any other HBO shows that need it more than BtD and Deadwood. I can't remember how Hung ended it didn't have a huge following and I don't remember it being a cliffhanger.

Nice that a film is still possible but I'd like some more definitive news on it happening. I'm looking forward to Blunt Talk though as Stewart is awesome and having some of the alumni from this series show up should be fun.
