2nd ep was quite a lot funnier than the 1st, I like the tone of it. So will stick with for a bit.

2nd episode was better. I'll stick with it.

Much, much better than the pilot. I'm happy I decided to stick with this show for a few episodes.

I thought the 2nd episode was better then the pilot, but still not that good. The only laugh I got was the drawing Ray was doing of his colonic experience.

I've never been a fan of Schwartzman and this part hasn't changedmy mind about him.

Not bad. I'm on board... for now.

Funny story: my gf and I were in Venice a couple weeks ago and we were waiting to cross the street when I saw a services ad posted on a telephone pole.



I took a picture because it seemed so ridiculous; I knew nothing of a show related to it. I said, "Hey, that's funny. The guy looks like Jason Schwartzman, private eye" and thought nothing of it. Then a week or so later I hear about his series, so I call the number and it's a humorous voice message done by him about the show. Kinda funny.

This ep. was definitely a step up from the previous two. Interesting timing with the Polanski comment.

I think this episode shows them getting their stride a bit. Not sure if it's because there wasn't an actual P.I. case.

Galifianakis was hilarious after his therapy session! "I wanna watch Little House on the Prarie"

yeah I am liking this series a lot. Can't really figure out what it's "about" but I don't care - just a fun little diversion. Have to say I probably like it more than Hung.

Totaly dug the third episode. The Polanski line was South Park-perfect (i.e. topical even though this was filmed months ago).

The DVD and Blu-ray set is already up for pre-order on Amazon. This is a 10 episode season, right?

Just got around to seeing it. Solid ep. with lots of funny. I hope they bring back Parker Posey, she and Schwartzman look like they were made to star together.

Anyone watch this tonight? I thought it was great. The entire scene of Ray and George in the car was hilarious.

I've never really been a big fan of Ted Danson for his acting but he is superb on this show. He and Schwartzman have good chemistry together. Galifianakis is a hoot too.

Yeah last night was good too. I'm still not sure where things are going but I still don't care. It's like watching a weekly vignette.

Ted Danson shines in this. He's obviously had great roles over the years and guests on 3 current shows (CYE & Damages), but he steals every scene he is in with Bored to Death. Another enjoyable episode this week.

I thought this one was the best episode yet.

This is fast becoming a guilty pleasure type of show for me. The blackmale bait of a sister was sort of cute.

Nice to hear this. I either forgot about or missed the announcement about this show getting a second season, but it's not surprising given the warm reception it received.

I found that season one sort of lost its lustre as it drew to a close (at least for me). Maybe it was the story arc they had spanning the later episodes. I hope that season two recaptures some of the magic in the earlier/middle episodes.

Anyone been watching season 2? I'm really liking it so far, although the plotline in episode 2 had my stomach turning in knots.
