I don't blame Directv for dropping it. 1st off, it was in SD. Who in their right mind watched their content in SD? 2nd, who watches that channel?

All they aired was American Ninja Warrior repeats and reality shows. They did air a scripted show Beowulf earlier this year, but I don't think anyone watched it. Would not surprise me if the channel goes under in the next 6 months to 1 year. I can't imagine this channel gets enough ad revenue to be profitable.

Esquire does exclusively air Team Ninja Warrior and had first run rights for American Ninja Warrior. However, because ANW did better in ratings on NBC, Esquire now has second run rights.

I wonder if NBC or USA would get second run rights for Team Ninja Warrior.

Friday Night Tykes was probably a show that got decent ratings.

Newsmax was another channel that was dropped this year.

I didn't even know DirecTV had Newsmax.

(Not like I'd watch it, anyway.)

We need to start getting some 4k channels

Dtv is in a contract dispute with ABC and NBC and many people don't have access to those channels owned by those two companies including me.
I saw on twitter that some people can't get FOX now for the same reason.

It's about time. Unfortunately, I believe From Dusk Til Dawn is cancelled. So, their original shows output is very limited.

They're showing a lot of old Godzilla movies over the next few days. They do show some old Shaw Bros. Kung Fu movies and some cool old cult movies every now and then.

Fucking finally. TW had it in HD when it debut. I still watch Lucha and all their crazy weekend marathons.

I get most of the channels but not 341 and Boomerang for some reason. Maybe it is part of another package?

Directv will drop Universal HD Channel 569 on July 14 and replace it with the Olympic channel.

I guess no more WWE Monday Night Raw and Smackdown repeats on Saturday nights.

Centric channel 330 will now be known as BET Her but it still will not be in HD.

No HD?! I have no choice but to continue my boycott of the channel in protest.

Directv also added RT network on channel 321 (No HD Feed) the channel owned by Russia that has the World According to Jesse Ventura and Politicking with Larry King.

Not sure if mentioned but the Fox Movie channel is now HD.
Don't think it was until recently.

Maybe I will check the fox movie channel guide since I avoid taping movies that are in SD.

Recently noticed that American Heroes Channel (AHC) is finally in HD.

TV One channel 328 is now in HD.

Great American Country (GAC) channel 326 now in HD.

POP channel 273 now in HD - in time for season 4 of Schitt's Creek later this month!

Just noticed that they're also airing repeats of Baywatch in HD. Season 2 is currently airing. Dammit, if it only was summer I'd love to revisit the show, but I have no DVR space for some frivolous recording. I'm still catching up on stuff from late 2017.

Those Baywatch shows might be 4:3 and not 16:9 so not really HD quality.

CSPAN and CSPAN 2 still not in HD after all these years. A wild guess nobody watches those channels?
