yeah, doug and the waitress thing was very funny. i'm surprised deacon or dough would even drink/eat any of the food after the first time doug pissed her off. you never know what they may (and probably do) do to your food if you give them a reason.

Maybe it was just what she was wearing, but it looked like Leah Remini has lost some of the weight. Her face just looked a little thinner than usual.

anyone watching 70's show
I'm a fan of the show but sadly I've missed most of the season (which is supposedly the last).
Has it been any good. What are the major storylines ?? Also...when is the series finale ??

I thought this ep was very funny. Doug making himself all at home in those people's house was classic. "You know what goes good with hot chocolate? Beef jerky."
Arthur to the little girl: "So is there a daddy in the picture, or is this a two mommies situation? Cause right now that's the vibe I'm getting."
And Leah did look like she has dropped a few lbs.

King of Queens 10/3/05
Decent episode except you really have to ignore the fact that the actors are obviously older than they were in seasons 1 and 2 when they could pull this off. The big fault I noticed though...in the 1995 scene, Carrie mentioned that her mom was dead. In the pilot for the series, Arthur moves in with Carrie and Doug after Carries mom died. I thought all of these shows were supposed to have their own "bible" in order to avoid conflicting information like this...yes I realize its just a TV show and definitely not one I should be overthinking, but its not that hard to keep all of the "history" in line either.

I didn't like the premiere a couple weeks back, but these past two eps have been funny. I don't really like flashbacks, but I thought this one was creative. I agree, though, that they should've went back to present day.
And I agree about the Carrie of now not looking like the Carrie of old so the flashback is a little harder to accept I guess. But I thought it was good.
There was no Arthur though, was there? They could've easily slipped him in somewhere I'd think.

Okay episode, but I definitely enjoyed "Pole Lox" (loved the quirky montage with Arthur trying to revive Carrie's childhood) so much more than these past two eps.
Still, agree that KOQ is consistently funny, and am glad to have CBS's current best sitcom back on Mondays.

Ok, well I didnt realize it was her stepmom in the pilot...kinda odd that in less than 3 years, Carries mom would die, Arthur would remarry, and then his new wife would die too. Yeah, I expected to see Carries reaction to this story too...pretty crappy ending considering that. I do agree its one of the best multi-camera sitcoms on TV still, although not as good as the earlier seasons.

I love KoQ, definitely one of the best shows on TV. I think that we should have just one thread for the whole season like was done last year for a couple of shows, since it doesn't seem like it garners much interest around here.
I found the pole dancing episode pretty funny, especially with Doug on the pole.
Last weeks episode where they actually get transcripts of their fights was funny as well. I liked seeing Arthur reenact them on stage.
This episode with the flashbacks was pretty light with the humor, but it was okay.
I think that Leah Remini looks pretty damn good again now.

Remini is a fat shadow of her former self. Like it has been mentioned before, much of the funny came out of a hot wife and a fat ox of a husband. It doesn't seem so funny when one fatty calls another fatty 'fat'.

I said before I'll say it again....Leah got fat..big deal. Go find another sitcom to jerk off too.
Frankly, after coming back to watching TV after a long break and seeing KoQ syndicated eps, i've realized that Leah's character comes across really bitchy to me. So I don't see to upside of being married to a "hot annoying bitch".
