The King of Queens starring Kevin James, Leah Remini, Jerry Stiller on CBS
I just gotta say........ Leah Remini is hot!
oh, and the show is good. |
She was even hotter in 'Fired Up', a show that was cancelled way too early ... but yeah, 'King of Queens' is a great show. It's one of the few bright spots on that ailing network.

I watch the show every week. She is much hotter now then back when she was on Saved by the Bell for that one season when everyone worked at the beach.
|
Definitely hot. She simply smokes a pair of tight jeans.
Kevin James cracks me up. Did anybody catch his stand up routine on Comedy Central a while back? God, I could barely breathe. |
I'm glad someone started a KOQ thread. This is a great show.
Did you see last week when Arthur fell in the bathroom and got stuck and Doug and Carrie were arguing over his care if Carrie should die first? They also set a baby monitor on Arthur without his knowing and their friends were spying on him. It was side-splitting funny. I've had to replay the show right after I watched it because it's so funny and I may have missed something. |

It's a great show that manages to stay below the radar. KOQ should but doesn't do as well in the ratings as Friends which I don't think is very funny or remotely realistic in their dialogue.
People give this show a try. It's a riot. |
The problem with KOQ is that it's a young adults show on an older adults network CBS. People don't see CBS as having any shoes that would be of the friends/will&grace young adults variety on CBS. Atleast, i don't, but this show does rock. As does the show after it, and also everybody loves raymond.

Yep, KoQs is great.

You know if a guy like Keven James was really married to a babe like Leah Remini, she would really have to beat him off with a baseball bat like every 30 minutes.
It's hilarious that he dosen't seem to realize she is like one of the most gorgeous babes on earth. |

There are quite a lot of action and drama shows on CBS. Younger audiences probably enjoy them and the reality shows like Amazing Race, Big Brother 2 and Survivor but I guess you're right about CBS still having the senior network stigma. |
KOQ is one of the best sitcoms on currently on television. It can't quite get the attention that it deserves...alot of it's thunder is taken by Raymond.

A gem of a show that more people should watch. They've been on for 4 seasons. They are doing something right. I missed it when it first came on. Then I happened to catch bits and pieces of it and now I'm hooked. |
KING of Queens - What a great show!
Last night was especially hilarious (after the last two weeks being ok).
It will sound like Geppetto's workshop in here! Plus, when Doug did the Arthur impersonation, that was funny.... |
No argument here. It's one of the few bright spots on that lameass "network" known as CBS.

The only thing I watch on CBS is the whole Monday night line-up. King of Queens to Family Law. And I want "Yes Dear" back! I hope it is back next week.
|
"Yes Dear",
WAS ON last night, it just was on after Raymond, not before like usual (they stuck Ellen there). Yes King of Queens was good last night, and I'm liking Raymond more and more as well. |
Yeah, the Ellen they showed last night was disgraceful. Not only is the show your typical sit-com with the same lame jokes and sightgags you get from every other sit-com, but they had the audacity to do a show with Mary, Phyllis, and Lou without Rhoda! Hello! Mary and Phyllis may have been neighbors, but Rhoda! Come on!!! Rhoda!! :)
Seriously it was lame that the ads killed the Ed Asner joke at the end. What a great gag that would have been for Asner to just pop up and for no one to know he was there. Instead, we saw that scene over and over in the previews for the episode, so it had no impact when it finally aired. Good ol' CBS ... it's all here. das |
I just started watching King of Queens. There aren't a whole lot of sit-coms out there that are actually funny, but I have recently discovered that King of Queens is indeed one of them. Yes, Dear and Becker aren't too bad either...
