Intensity? Eh. I find the final two much more intense. His song was certainly the most memorable and with a catchy hook, but it's not something I'd even remotely consider purchasing. Actually, none of the originals were that great. I do strongly disagree with you that the other performers didn't bring any intensity. Anyway, it's not a huge deal to me. Just a fun TV show.

Spoiler:
I will simply never understand why fans love Lukas. The man mumbles his way through songs. Christ... I cringed every time he performed on stage.

What a disapointment. But then again, this show sucked. (As I didn't miss an episode) LOL

I still stand by my assessment earlier in this thread.

Spoiler:

to me it comes down to who would you pay to see. And i wouldn't pay to see anyone, but i'd be willing to take less money to watch Toby, so he wins in my eyes

Toby got robbed, but he's probably better off not "winning" the job.

Wow, I'm shocked...Lukas wins Supernova, Boogie wins Big Brother...IT'S REALITY TV GONE MAD!! What next, Tucker wins Dancing With the Stars?

Actually out of the 3 of them, Lukas is the only one who would have not made it on his own. Toby and Dilana will go on to have careers, and this nothing band with their nothing front man will eventually just ffffffade away.

I think Dilana was left sitting down, not because she ended up with the highest amount of votes, but because she never was in the bottom 2 at any time.

Wow, those results were the exact opposite order I would've chosen. I think Gilby made himself clear that he didn't want the lead singer to be playing guitar. When Magni was playing Fire I just kept thinking, "Put the guitar down. Put the guitar down. Gilby's gonna bitch about you being strapped to the guitar." But apparently Tommy didn't like him either, so I guess it doesn't matter. Toby was a close 2nd choice for me.

I gotta admit, Dilana did a good job with Roxanne. Much better than whoever murdered it earlier in the season. Still, I never really liked her or Lukas during the entire run of the show, so I'm pretty surprised that it ended up this way.

I didn't like this bunch as much as last year's, but it was still a fun show and I hope they come up with something for next Summer.

I never understood why there's always someone complaining that the fix is in. So what if they decided 4 months ago that they wanted to pick Lukas? It comes down to the band's choice anyway. The worst thing they could do is lie about the the audience voting and keep him out of the bottom three. I seriously doubt they would bother doing that since they could just keep praising him and telling him to go back and sit down.

If last year's show proved anything it's that the results don't matter because we'll probably never see any of these people again. I'll just keep watching to see The House Band play some more Deep Purple.

Gilby didn't want anyone showing how shitty a guitar player he is. The excuse to dismiss Magni was the lamest ever.

I'd pay to see Magni and Toby perform together in a band. They seemed quite a lot of fun together. I'm actually happy how it turned out because I can forget about SuperNoTalent and the little croaking frog.

Rockstar: Men at Work?
Rockstar: The Damned?

Oh, I have it. Rockstar: The Sex Pistols. Except Johnny Lydon is still alive and he did all the singing.

That fricken "Survivor" ad spoiling the winner pissed me off! I still had a faint hope Toby might win. Oh well -- no need to buy the Supernova CD now.

I appreciated that Jason was the only one who stood up and cheered after every performer -- TLee and Gilby looked like they couldn't be bothered to get off their ass.

Well this year there was heavy rumor that the fix was in before the show even started. However, it's probably very few people who actually care who won this thing at all. INXS had a large fanbase, SN does not.

Was it me, or was the finale announcing Loukas very anticlimatic? even for Loukas. He really didnt show the emotion I thought he would. And the band spent more time loving on Dilana than Loukas, so I dont get it. Loukas looked like he already knew. Very strange.

Was the word "supernova" even spoken last night? Brooke called them a supergroup a couple of times, I think, and mentioned how Lukas would be playing with Tommy, Jason, and Gilby at the end, but didn't say supernova.

Fine with who won. Couldn't really care less at this point.

For the earlier poster, the people standing for the bottom three are always people that were in the bottom three at some point of the night. Those that have to perform were in the bottom three at the end of the night. It's possible that the person who ends up having the most number of votes at the end of the night was in the bottom three at some point earlier in the night, and hence would have to stand up. Ditto with the final two.

I tend to believe that he's known for quite awhile.

That might be because of the pending lawsuit and ruling over the band name.

I think she let it slip once. But other than that was always referring to them by name, or as "the boys".. but the lawsuit didn't apply to the TV show, so I found it curious.

Anyone else think to themselves while Gilby offered his services to Dilana "No, thats ok Gilby, I got it. Thanks for the offer though"

Hell, Trollboy didn't even bother to muster up a surprised look when he "won".

Also seems like Lukas threw some performances on purpose, to make it seem more legit.
