would have been better if they performed different originals. we'd already heard the songs by Lukas and Toby twice

I agree. And the other two original songs weren't even that great the first time. What was worse for me is that the covers (with the exception of "Roxanne" which I have to admit I really enjoyed) were even a bit lackluster, the first two because I'm not fans of the original bands. And Magni's "Hush" had energy but also felt a bit generic... very "cover band".

I agree with Lunatikk and DRG. I think the lack of original originals is one of the reasons why I found last night so boring (that and the lack of Storm )

I thought it was funny when they told Toby that he lost the melody on "Karma Police". That song does not have much melody to begin with!

Wow, that's a shocker! And the fact that Toby was cut 2nd is laughable. But I think he's in the same boat as Ryan was - the exposure they got on the show will help vault them to something better, and they are actually winning by not getting stuck with this band.

I think the other part of this is that Supernova didn't want a frontman that was going to be "too good" - i.e. taking attention away from them.

I'm actually glad I read that spoiler, since now I can just watch until Toby is cut. Will save me a few minutes.

Many posters at TWOP call them SuavePorn which is an an anagram of SuperNova. I think it fits.

That or SuperEasy Paycheck.

I'm glad they chose who they did to front their lame "supergroup". They all friggin deserve each other. That shit band was enamored with Lukas' "look" from the get go, nevermind that he sings like he just fellated a tube of razor blades. May they all rot in obscurity.

I am a bit confused by the choice. Not who they chose, but the statement that they said that helped them to choose.

Spoiler:
They said that the person they chose had the highest number of votes last night. So when they did they "first round" of elimination where Magni got the boot, why was Dilana the only one to remain seated? The only one never to enter the bottom 3, let alone the bottom 2? Wouldn't that mean that she had the highest votes?


Maybe not...anyways...either person would have worked for me, both are some of the best performers and were two of my top 3 choices.

i have to agree with the fix being in, lukas got worse and worse on every episode and still got praised. yes, hes got a look, but his vocals are horrendous, i cant understand a thing he says. he been unprepared all season long, not knowing the words to alot of songs, not being prepared for his songwriting clinic, and even tonight, he was staring at the lyrics printed on the monitor for the final song with supernova...the other singers deserve better than supernova anyway.

The praise they gave Toby made no sense to me after he was given the boot. So he's a great singer with an impressive vocal range and and intense energy.....but they let him go? WTF?

Christ.... even Toby's version of "Be Yourself" was a 100 times better than Lukas'.

I actually thought the final two were the right two people. Someone mentioned previously that Toby seems like a frat boy up on stage and I agree. No originality. I really wish Dilana had won, but maybe she'll make more interesting music on her own (except her original song was boooring so I'm not so sure about that). I have ignored most of the music the guys in Supernova have been involved with and I guess nothing will change there.

I completely disagree on that person. They were the only person that got me amped up and feeling their energy. I'm just confused by what many of you consider "original", because it feels alot like "terrible".

Toby clearly had the best original out of the final four. The man simply brought an intensity to the stage....something clearly lacking by the other performers
