Seriously. Why in the world was this not full-screen 16:9? Was this a mistake by HBO?

I think a lot of UK Shows are not full 16:9 so that's probably why

I thought it was just the opposite? I can't think of any recent BBC shows not shot in widescreen. I think in the UK they have some other ratio for analog broadcast (14:9?), but digital is all 16:9.

Like the other poster said, this was HBO-HD showing a 16:9 frame in a 4:3 box on my 16:9 display. Very aggravating.

I was disappointed that KW kept using euphemisms --pillows and fudding.

Kate Winslet dressed as a nun [plus] explicitly obscene dirty talk [equals] GREAT TV (and a dream I had a few weeks ago)

I was just about to get rid of HBO since Rome hasnt been catching me, and Entourage is gone for now, but finally watched this on on-demand, and has kept me from cancelling for now. Bloody funny show...

What is with this always getting cut short for me? Get it together HBO. I like Gervais being this sarcastic smartass. "Were you Starsky or Hutch?"

The Zoolander and Starsky & Hutch comments were really funny. I think that the concept of the show is rather silly, though, and the girl is way too stupid to be believable.

You have never met someone that dumb? Trust me, it's not that far off the mark. I had one girl ask me how she could tape herself on the internet. I told her she needed a webcam, and she actually asked me why she couldn't just use her monitor and download a program. She literally didn't understand why her regular monitor could not be used as a camera.

I think the issue is more with how stupid she is about social norms and propriety.

I also had the ending cut off. It really pissed me off. I thought this ep was better than the first one, even though Kate Winslet completely killed me in the first one.

Here's the last scene of the episode, I believe. Probably was the funniest scene in the episode, actually.

Extras - Ep 3 - Ross Kemp/Vinnie Jones

the 2nd most english centric ep, and one that's pretty funny. I think this might be a tough sell for the us audiences.

I didn't know who those guys were, but I was laughing just as much as I was at Stiller.

Didn't think it was as strong as the first two, mostly since I didn't know who the people were and probably didn't get some of the brit jokes. But i did love the interactions with his agent. Great stuff, reminds me of the Office.

Those are indeed funny scenes. "Ladies and gentlemen...my agent."

I loved the scene where they were asking Andy about his acting work. "You haven't been on The Bill?"

that guy Vinnie Jones is a footballer, but he cant be that good, since I cant find any record of him scoring a touchdown, recording a sack or pulling in any interceptions.

Must be a punter
