If it's up there I'll give you the money meself.
I'm assuming the US version of family fortunes may have once or twice said something similar.

The open exchange between him and his agent is awesome.

'Could you maybe do a bit more exercise'

Another good one. Merchant & Gervais play off each other perfectly. Both of their scenes, in the office, and on the stage were hilarious.

And the great thing about this series, just like The Office, is that not only are the episodes hilarious the first viewing, but they get funnier with subsequent viewings.

This is my least favorite episode of the bunch. Not because I don't know who Les Dennis is (I don't), but because it strays too far from the "format." Nobody is an actual "extra" in this one.

Yep.

Not a bad episode, but the party was a bit too broad.

Extras Ep6 - Patrick Stewart

I need to rewatch this as it was excellent.

It's almost a rehash of the Kate Winslet ep though with Patrick Stewart in Kates role.

this was the last ep. And there are more already in the pipeline.

For me, it was easily the best use of a guest-star in this short run.

Glad to hear there are more coming up. These Brit shows have seasons that are way too short!

Patrick Stewart should be allowed to make any movies he wishes, based on this episode.

I loved everything about this episode. Great use of Merchant and Stewart, and they did a real good job making it a little sentimental for the close of the series (season). When it came to the funny, Stewart was really able to make it so ... you've seen Star Trek: The Next Generation? Oh.

I loved the depth of this episode - great laughs along with the issues between Andy and Maggie, and Maggie and the world. I couldn't decide whether she was really innocent in her comments to the gay guy, or if she was partially trying to sabotage Andy's success.

The scene between Gervais and Stewart in the trailer is possibly the single greatest written and acted comedy scene I have ever seen.

OK, maybe not, but I seriously can't think of anything greater at the moment.

The back-and-forth between the two was effortless and Stewart's delivery was impeccable.

Fabulous episode. My favorite of the year. Stewart was brilliant, Merchant and Gervais were their usual hysterical selves, and even the Maggie character cracked me up this episode.

The greatest was Stewart's disbelief that a guy who lives alone in his 40's and doesn't have a gf has never seen Star Trek. I couldn't stop laughing.

Does anyone know who sings the song played over the credits? My friends say it's Marianne Faithfull and I know she's lived a hard life but I didn't think she sounded THAT rough...if its her she's more masculine than I am!

Can't wait! Great show. Not as good as the Office, but still...pretty damn funny.

Good news. The first season was kind of up and down, but the Patrick Stewart guest appareance was comedy gold. Can't wait to see more.
