Arrested Development 03/06/05 - 2 Episodes tonight
#77
DVD Talk Godfather
Finally watched these yesterday
I thought the episodes were a little weaker because it seemed like they tried to jam too much stuff in.
I like that they played up the fact that Michael wants to be seen as the good guy even if he isn't as perfect as he wants to be. But he pretty much demanded that it was his baby, even after being told it wasn't, and later he nearly forces his son to break into a house. Although it was funny, I also didn't like the earlier joke that he's a taskmaster (well... if you really want to you can leave it open for another hour). The show was also a lot darker than usual, especially with the loss of the hand.
Still a ton of laugh-out-loud moments, and, as usual, a ton of jokes I didn't see until I went to this thread.
