I feel like I've been suffocating for weeks without Arrested Development, my oxygen.

Let's just hope it's not Fox "burning off the remaining episodes before officially killing the show".

Wow, these were amazing. The first one was one of the best episodes I have seen! How could you want to cancel something so original and so funny?

I especially enjoyed the references to earlier episodes, including the confusing doctor, the 'You're killing me, Buster' sign, Michael talking on the phone to Gene Parmesan, and especially:

"I just want my wife back!"

"Whoa, calm down, Tom Jane..."

The second one was hilarious..

"He's going to be all right."

Gotta love it when Buster gets bleeped. And four Mr. Show alumni in one episode!

Is anyone else distracted by all of the ADR on this show? Maybe it's just me.

Was Amy Poehler in tonight's eps?

Amy was barely in the first episode.

I LOL only 2 times during the 2 episodes. I found the episodes to be over-reaching for the humor.

I noticed the one guy (african american cop - Jerry Minor) was on the US version of Trigger Happy TV. I checked and he is one of the people from Mr. Show (not familiar with that one).

In the first ep was there a jab at Desperate Housewives? Gob said something about DH when trying to distract the children from the live seal....I think.

those jabs at Simpsons writers were classic. :lol:

David Cross was David in "Mr. Show with Bob & David" along with
Jay Johnston (the white cop)
Jerry Minor (the black cop)
and the fat woman sueing Skip's (I can't remember her name she was only on season 4)

Great stuff! I love this show...

A great Lucille reference, too: Buster's hand was bitten off by a loose seal.

"If her name is Amy, I'll name her Blamey!"

Fox has had movies for the last few weeks so I just assumed they weren't going to play anymore for awhile, so I missed them both. Fuck!
