I'm psyched. PSYCHED!

I feel like I've been suffocating for weeks without Arrested Development, my oxygen.

movieking 03-06-05 05:44 PM

Are these the final episodes for the season?

NORML54601 03-06-05 06:48 PM

2 new episodes! Woo Hoo

TheMadMonk 03-06-05 07:38 PM

Let's just hope it's not Fox "burning off the remaining episodes before officially killing the show".

neatMCsammer 03-06-05 08:37 PM

Wow, these were amazing. The first one was one of the best episodes I have seen! How could you want to cancel something so original and so funny?

I especially enjoyed the references to earlier episodes, including the confusing doctor, the 'You're killing me, Buster' sign, Michael talking on the phone to Gene Parmesan, and especially:

"I just want my wife back!"

"Whoa, calm down, Tom Jane..."

letum89 03-06-05 08:38 PM

The second one was hilarious..

"He's going to be all right."

DJLinus 03-06-05 08:48 PM

Gotta love it when Buster gets bleeped. And four Mr. Show alumni in one episode!

Is anyone else distracted by all of the ADR on this show? Maybe it's just me.

Rogue588 03-06-05 09:09 PM

Was Amy Poehler in tonight's eps?

Patman 03-06-05 09:17 PM

Amy was barely in the first episode.

I LOL only 2 times during the 2 episodes. I found the episodes to be over-reaching for the humor.

I noticed the one guy (african american cop - Jerry Minor) was on the US version of Trigger Happy TV. I checked and he is one of the people from Mr. Show (not familiar with that one).

Phyre 03-06-05 09:20 PM

In the first ep was there a jab at Desperate Housewives? Gob said something about DH when trying to distract the children from the live seal....I think.

Deftones 03-06-05 09:28 PM

those jabs at Simpsons writers were classic.

David Cross was David in "Mr. Show with Bob & David" along with
Jay Johnston (the white cop)
Jerry Minor (the black cop)
and the fat woman sueing Skip's (I can't remember her name she was only on season 4)

mikewendt 03-06-05 09:32 PM

Great stuff! I love this show...

TheMadMonk 03-06-05 09:46 PM

A great Lucille reference, too: Buster's hand was bitten off by a loose seal.

Matthew Chmiel 03-06-05 10:45 PM

"I want my wife back!"
"Hey! Save it for the stand Tom Jane!"

"If her name is Amy, I'll name her Blamey!"

I believe that's actually a Conan O'Brien reference.

I think she was only in pictures they showed

Michael not recognizing Anne again:lol:

JasonF 03-06-05 11:40 PM

I liked the reference back to Maebe's job at the movie studio. And I have a new signature!

ClarkKentKY 03-06-05 11:58 PM

2 fantastic episodes tonight. Too many things to quote, so i won't even try.

What did Gob say about "one of the desperate housewives [indistinguishable]" when he was pushing the seal back in the trunk??

Ted The Bug 03-06-05 11:59 PM

I loved Ron Howard's naration...

"We had a fight! Who remembers about what?"

"I do"

Breakfast with Girls 03-07-05 12:42 AM

What the FUCK

Fox has had movies for the last few weeks so I just assumed they weren't going to play anymore for awhile, so I missed them both. Fuck!

MrBob 03-07-05 01:39 AM

Don't know if this will matter or not, but E online has an SOS poll, and you can vote for Arrested developement.
