Yeah considering the length, a child isn't likely to be corrupted or anything. In my mind, it isn't just the breast that they should be complaining about, though. It should be the whole dry humping scene on stage during the entire song. The breast wasn't the only thing that should have been eliminated from that show.

But that is what you get for having MTV do the halftime show.

Not hardcore or anything, that's for sure, but put it together with some of the humping, crotch grabbing, etc, that was part of the whole dance, and it bests some of the stuff on Skinemax

If liberals would just keep stuff like that on Playboy, Pay-Per-View and MTV (which it shouldn't be, but has been since the 1990's) everthing would have been fine.
But noooo, you gotta push that stuff on a Superbowl half-time show during the family hour on public t.v.
And that's why no Democract will when the Presidental Election because they approve this crap and the majority of Americans don't approve of this crap.

You can't honestly be this clueless, can you?
I'm sure there are no Conservatives that watch Playboy! You are so ridiculous for even making such a broad statement! I'm willing to bet that more Conservatives have Playboy than Liberals (the whole women being objectified angle of it and all). I am reeling from the craziness of your statements!
And perhaps if our Republican presidents spent more money on education, you'd have a better handle on your grammar.

If they had a Jerry Farwell half-time show praising Jesus, that would have raised an up roar too.
There's a place for certain type of entertainment.
And the liberals just like to ram things in our face since they are in the creative control.
Funny how they only had Jessica Simpson intrudce the acts , but not perform. Could it be that she only does sexy acts that are in good taste like Shania Twain or Ann Margret not the MTV flith.

Are you Jerry Falwell? You're scary.

Jessica Simpson had little tightie whities shorts on with her tits coming out to her neck...so don't be so quick to give your Christian girl praise...the same one who lets the whole world see how much sex her and her husband have and jumps out of a cake in lingerie....I don't know that Jesus would really approve of her sexy acts. Just because they're white girls doesn't mean it's in good taste. And Ann Margret, how old are you, 105???

Maybe you should stay inside and listen to your Shania and Toby Keith CD's while watching Pax TV and reading the Bible...that way you wouldn't be "forced" to watch all the other stuff on TV.

BY Ann Margret who is around 60 now, appeared a lot on t.v. during the 1970's in sexy Las Vegas style shows.
She would wear outfits that had slit on the long dress, the boobs would show cleavage. And she would dance in good taste.
Now being a little kid at the time the whole family was able to watch that without my parents sending me out of the room.
The same can't be said for the MTV halftime show that was on Sunday and judgeing from the callers on 4 different talk radio stations the majority of America would agree with me.
The only thing missing from the halftime show was Howard Dean come out to pump up the crowd.

Stop trying to make the thread your political garbage. Go to "Other" for that. You are a frightening individual, too bad there's more like you.

O.k. enough of the politics.
But the NFL did offer an apology today and said there would be no more shows of this type on the SuperBowl halftime show.
The guy who approved that MTV put on that show should be fired.
What do you expect when MTV is putting on the show.
It wasn't too long ago they had Brittney Spears kiss Madonna on the mouth.
They should have an Ice skating show or circus acts next year.

Too bad they just don't get rid of the whole freakin' half-time show altogether. I'd rather watch 15 minutes of commercials.

You see the NBA knows whats going on in today's music.
Last year they had 70's superacts perform at the opening of the show.
The logical thing would have been to put music stars of today, but the music stars of today are hip-hop.
But the NBA knew that if they had , that then they would have had a show that the SuperBowl had and it's controvercy.
And they couldn't put a country act, they had to put black acts.
The fact is black music since the 1990's has gone into street gargage.

Huh?!?!

I hate to say this , but you really aren't helping the conservative cause with your arguments around here.

I wonder if the FCC investigation will have a hearing in which Brittney Spears is called to testify as a character witness against TImberlake? If Michael Jackson testifies on behalf of defending MTV and his sister, will it hurt them or help them?

Now that I see a replay, I will say that it looks pretty deliberate. Janet had the little ring placed there knowing that her bra would be ripped off. After Timberlake ripped it off, you can notice that Janet looks left and right before she finally looks down. I think that had she felt the sudden draft, she would have looked down immediately. It was obviously part of the act, and I think they counted on cameras going away with only the shot of a what everyone would assume was a a paisley. They didn't count on people taking close-up shots of it. Those people would really have no life, right?

One wonders why the NFL just doesnt go to established "safe" type of artists like Faith Hill, Sheryl Crow and Sting. Janet Jackson did a stupid thing like using the "F" word on her and goodball brother Michaels video Scream and I believe she even grabbed her breast on that video as well.

I guess next years highlights will be back to Disney or even like Broadway for their halftime entertainment.

Okay, whatever it is that women put over their nipples to hide them in shows.

A pastie, thank you very much!

I find it interesting that everyone is going ballistic over a breast on CBS while ABC airs people getting stabbed in their hands, dismembered, and shot mutliple times with more than enough blood on the show Alias. Seems like no one cares about brutality on TV, but boobs are a no no.

I read on a NG somewhere, that there was a CSI commercial during Survivor that had one character ask another character that was holding a severed head "Oh, finally got some head?"

Or something to that extent..
