it was a mistake. what I belive was intended to happen was Justin was supposed to rip off the leather breastplate but not the red lace lingerie underneath. When that came off, that's when the problem's erupted and that's why she was so shocked.

I actually missed the whole nipple business because as soon as I watched the first 2 minutes, I was bored. Janet Jackson squeaking a song from 99...Puffy doing a song from 98 (and how cheesed-out is he at this point?) and then all the rest of the garbage.

I think it was intentional. It was just so dumb and completely not entertaining on any level. Even if the red lingerie was still on when he ripped it off, it was still pointless and stupid. MTV is so useless at this point.

The reaction to this obvious publicity stunt is amazing. A brief long shot of one semi-exposed breast (it looked like a pasty on TV) and people are having a puritanical fit. So JJ has boobs. Did anyone think she didn't?
