I tend to agree. And the whole shooting a main character thing has been done too many times before on these season finales... Also, killing Ed would be like "24" killing off Jack, it's ratings suicide.

I don't believe for a minute that Ed is in any danger. I am thinking that he was shot with some kind of tranq gun or something.

Regardless, I liked the episode. I am a country fan, so it was nice to see Sugarland play, and the party scenes were good.

That was a pretty big gunshot. If you shot a tranq dart that hard it would be a bullet.

Now they might have shot a blank, missed him to scare him, or shot the "bad guy" standing behind him. We'll see in the fall, I guess. It is certainly reasonable to expect that they are misleading us. That's what cliffhangers do.

Once again Woody makes an appearance... and I'm guessing we'll see him in the next season opener.

Now all that they have to do is have guest star on all 3 L&O shows and Conviction and he'll break Munch's record of the same character being on different shows. ;)

I'm a little late on this one...just finished the S2 DVDs.

Weak season overall. I enjoyed the first two much much more. The first several and last several episodes were decent...but there was some time in the middle of the season I was very bored. I don't like it when there's not an ongoing story arc, even if it's a small one.

Here's hoping for a better season four!

Las Vegas premiere question?
 

Everything has it listed as this Friday. TVGuide, Tv.com, my DVR. I know I have even seen commercials about it. NBC.com has it listed as next Friday. I can only think it got pulled because of baseball, but I have not seen anything about it. Any word on it?

they swap the season premier with a new episode of 'deal or no deal' and pushed VEGAS back a week... NBC is doing some weird things with their schedule

NBC is relying way too much on that stupid briefcase game show.

Crossing Jordan has been delayed indefinitely because of that 1 vs 100 game show.

NBC needs to clean house like ABC did a few years.....their current management is running it into the ground.

Those game shows are pretty much the only thing aside from Heroes and perhaps ER that NBC has going for it right now.

Yup, NBC cut the order to 18 episodes this season....which sucks! Less Sam, Mary and Delinda....not good

Same here, I didn't hear that either. Molly Sims was on Today Show this Morning & Josh was on Megan Mullally (sp?) Show. Even Matt Lauer on Today commented that its rare for a show to make it to season 2 anymore on NBC.
