eh...they just gave it to Jack to see what he'd say....whatever.
(although I haven't seen this yet, so i cannot fully judge it....) I really thought DD Lewis was going to win this one....

You really should try watching these performances before so quickly dismissing them.

That Said, Jack doesn't disappoint and gives the quote of the night: "I took a valium tonight"

conscience - as i said, I was mostly kidding...geesh. I'm sure he was incredible as usual and i have every intention of seeing it for myself....
and while I haven't seen The Shield, I only expressed my disappointment with Gandolfini and The Sopranos losing....i'm sorry that I haven't seen every show and every movie nominated....

Is Brad Pitt starting to look a lot like Jennifer Anniston?
I still can't believe Gere won over Cage's performance.
Then again, I still don't give all that much credence to the GGs, but it does seem like a good time is had by all.
I didn't think Nicole's performance was better than Lane's or Moore's, and Streep had the emotionally juicier role in the same film (The Hours).

I'll check it out, but the misleading ads are pretty annoying. "The writer of NYPD Blue" ... "the director of The Sopranos???" Try "a" instead of "the." David Mills has an amazing resume, though, so I'm optimistic and hope NBC keeps its hands off of it.
