And speaking of authenticity, there are a more supporting characters with Bawlmer accents this season, hon.

Do you guys think Dominic West has the accent down? I do, but I live a couple of hundred miles south of there, and have relatives in Elkton, so...my perspective is good, but not great.
That's a snarky accent to get ahold of, especially since West is a Britisher.

I did miss Jimmy reading boat world during the interview. Defiantely a show worth rewatching.

I'm just impressed that he has no discernible trace of his regular British accent. (Like Eammon Walker, from OZ. They've both mastered the art of sounding like Americans)
He did tell Avon's lawyer that he wouldn't wipe with a Balmer (of "Bawlmer" if you prefer) lawyer last year...

I loved how Stringer asked his teacher what to do about an inferior product in an aggressive market. The Worldcom reference was awesome.

Wow, great episode!
It looks like all of the seperate plot threads are finally coming together. Bunk looked like he was about to lose it.
I'm liking this season more than last. It seems to be picking up steam more quickly.

Ah, Callie Thorne. I love her so...
The thing w/ D came from nowhere. I thought at the end of last year that Stringer would chafe being Avon's lieutenant, but I never thought he'd go to these sorts of lengths.
Good to see Freeman's girlfriend and the judge again.
Omar's testimony was classic.

Loved omars suit.
I can't wait until Ziggy dies.
Bunk?!? WTF?
Whats up with D? Is he dead or is that a warning? Did his mom know it was coming? I guess the killer was going for an autoerotic asphixiation look.

Pretty sure his mom came to see him for one last attempt to change his mind. I think subconciously she knew it was coming, although she might not have openly realized it.

Omar on the stand was great. The jury and the judge couldn't help but laugh.
I'm not sure if Dee is dead but if he is I'm suprised they clipped. All he wanted was to be left alone. That didn't mean he was going to flip on them.He could of come around eventually.
Ziggy's gotta die! I can't believe he wanted to touch another package after what happened with the last one.

I think this was one of the better episodes for this series. It is definitely starting to pick up the steam now that the new characters are familiar.

I had to rewind Omars testimony when he ripped into the lawyer,
totally priceless the look on the drug dealers face then the judge just shrugged.
I was happy to see Jimmy get together with his ex
too bad she wasn't intersted in more long term, poor Mcnulty.
Bunk was so funny in the meeting holding it in.
I suspect D is not dead, he's a bit too big a character for them to take out, I think it takes more than that to kill someone. He'll be in critical next week.
I also am very impressed with Ziggys cousin. Smart Kid going to the greeks for protection against Ziggys debt. I'm impressed with that kid.
Ziggy need to die though, any pissant that lights up a $100 in front of people barley scapping by isn't worth the air he breathes.

wow, just saw the episode and it was just mind-blowing.
When the other guy was scoping out D in the room, I thought he might've been a friend or something of one of the guys that got the laced drugs, but I can also see if String had it arranged without Avon's knowledge. As far as Avon was concerned, he still wanted to look out for D.
Ziggy is the one person that REALLY needs to die. Hes an idiot still flaunting his cash after he came inches away from being killed by Cheese. When Frank and Zig are walking on the docks, I thought Frank was gonna kick the crap out of him or something, but I was dissapointed.
Bunk with his tennis ball and hangover and Omar with his testimony were frikin hilarious. Comedy gold:
"I got a shotgun, you got a briefcase"

I really don't think Stringer set up D without Avon's knowledge. Remember last time String came to visit him and Avon asked string if he'd been fair with D, and String said yeah, you been fair, and Avon responded with "more than fair", which to me, implied that he was convincing himself that he had bent over backwards for D and D was "slapping his hand away" so to speak. Sounded to me like he was justifiying taking D out.
