I've been watching Sex and the City for the past 3 years and a fan of the show. I even bought the season 1 and 2 DVDs. I didn't have that big of an issue with Sarah Jessica Parker's face but this new season I can't bare to look at her. That face is offensive looking. I don't know if it's the slutty hair style, skinny face, bad nose, etc....

I dunno when the last time I saw her was, but I don't remember her being that bad.

I abstain.

eh, I've only seen the first two seasons, but it seems to me that the more they make her up, the worse the looks.

Definately not a hottie... Never cared for her at all. The show is decent, but would do much better without her...

She hasn't looked her best this season, but I'll admit that I've had a thing for her for almost 20 years. She was so cute and perfect in Footloose and has been quite a hottie in half a dozen other films. She looked like ass at the Golden Globes, but for every time I see her looking bad, I can remember another time where she looked incredible.

Not having any particular relevance to this particular thread, but I hate it when people say, "I hate Sex in the City, cuz that chick's so ugly." While I find her quite attractive, her looks are irrelevant to her incredible talent and the wonderful writing on the show.

I don't see the show developing the other characters as much as they have with Carrie. I would say the show would drop off a bit without her, but the prospect of more Kristen Davis would be nice

Totalyl agree. Carrie is the most interesting character of the 4, IMO, even though my favorite character is Samantha. I just wish they make her look better, like in season 1 and season 2.

SJP isn't that bad, sometimes they just make her look worse. Although sometimes I must admit, she has looked hot.

I have to agree with das, I have heard that before too "it sucks because she is ugly." She is very good acting-wise in her role.

I also prefer Kristen Davis look-wise. HOT!

This is really a shame. I know I like to joke about Britney, but this is just sad. The whole show is about real women who are not ashamed of who they are or afraid to be themselves. There's an honesty and grace to this show that is the antithesis of everything that is the product known as "Britney." If Britney comes from LA, then maybe this could work (as the show has firmly established that everything in LA is fake), but otherwise, it's a lame-ass gimic from a show and a channel that normally don't pander to the easily manipulated masses.

Uhg. I bought the Sex and the City DVD set having never seen the series. I very quickly traded it for The Abyss. Deep sleeze.

Must not have gotten very far. The show has evolved into one of the most honest and intelligent shows on television.

I cannot stand her voice (I'm not talking about her singing voice, though I can't stand that either, but her conversation voice), she tries to make it sound sultry or something but it comes off horrible and sound likes she talking through a fan.
