I just always stick with Pro Logic II. It keeps mono in the center, and turns stereo into 5.1. It works so well, there's no reason to use anything else.

I've been watching this set this week, and tonight I made the unpleasant discovery that the first disc of Return of the King skips at around 5:52. Has anyone else experienced a problem with this disc?

I noticed the price for Jeremiah: Season 2 has gone way up since it was released. The $30 I paid was way more reasonable than the current price of $56.

Gravity on a moon depends solely on the mass of the moon itself. The distance between the moon and the primary planet doesn't factor into it.

I disagree, I don't think that had anything to do with how the DVDs ended up. The PQ problems plaguing the season 4 DVDs are the same types of problems that can be seen even on many big-budget movie...

How does season 4 look in this new set? Season 4 had absolutely horrible PQ on both the original ADV and Starburst releases (very soft and tons of edge enhancement).

You should at least get an s-video cable. The quality will be much better than composite, and the cable should be cheaper and easier to find than the component one.

The 4:3 broadcasts of this season looked very obviously cropped on the sides to me. I often noticed cramped compositions and characters partly cut off.

Correct, though I think season 12 is the only widescreen season so far.

Another Comedy Central show, The Sarah Silverman Program, also recently switched to widescreen production.

Baffling. I wouldn't purposely buy a lower quality format just to match a silly box.

The BD is also missing subtitles for foreign dialog. You have to manually turn on the English SDH subtitles during those scenes to know what's being said.
