Front Projector

It is very nice... I would seriously look into a front projector, especially since it appears you have control of ambient lighting. I would assume this is a basement location.

I guess the VB50/NV5/NV6 are scaler/deinterlacers... The anticipated NV6 with the STV108 chip is looking less interesting as the scaler appears to have little over the VB50/NV5 STV102 chip.

I'll fourth the Panny RP-62S and I will second the Panny RP-82, and the RP-91 (which does awesome scaling!) if you can find one (do you see a pattern here???).

Not familar with the flicker bug...

The DV-47A is Chroma Bug ladden, and until a firmware of some sort corrects it then I can't really recommend it for DVD playback. To do it all over...

I frequently listen to a Sade SACD and then an Eagles DVD-A.
