The record stores I go to all have surprisingly large racks of used cassettes, so they wouldn't be stocking them or acquiring them if people weren't buying them.

I can't imagine anyone that grew up with them wanting to go back. Vinyl has advantages over CDs and streaming. Cassette does not. It was a convenient analog media that was good enough not a good one. It might be some Gen Z/Alpha shit

Guaranteed, we’ll see a timed release of each cover option leading up to the release date, just as was done for the last album or two. They just don’t want everyone ordering 4 vinyl albums at once when they can charge $10.35 shipping for each one.
The leaked photo I shared was of the inside of the vinyl sleeve, and the color scheme seems most in line with the second CD variant than the others. So I bet there’s 4 vinyl versions too, just as there was for the first half of TTPD in the pre-order phase. Best way to milk the whales.

I'm watching the Taylor Swift and Kelce brother podcast and it's totally incredible. She never gives interviews and here she is with her boyfriend talking about how she seeks out Sourdough bread blogs and how Travis dreams of rescuing a wild otter. It's insane and wonderful.
I'm 40 minutes in. Taking a break. Her talking about how difficult it was to get her maters back and how emotional she gets when talking about it is really special.

With ‘The Tortured Poets Department’, I was like, ‘Here’s a data dump of everything I thought and felt in two or three years. Here’s 31 songs.’ This is 12.
