Unfortunately, the two friends I came with weren't into them at all.
Not sure how far you are from Dayton, OH, but they played Friday (4/6) night I think.

They were great live. Their bassist is a madman on stage and should be in every band period. That band as well as Black Tusk were the reasons why I came out to the show in the first place.

The Naked and Famous at Terminal 5, NYC - Very good show. Not as good as I thought they would be based on their one album as I really like the album. But still good.
The Joy Formidable at Terminal 5 - Just awesome. What a great show these guys put on. Amazing stage set-up, great lighting and amazing energy on stage.

Re: What concert did you recently attend?
Springsteen at Izod - This was my first time seeing the Boss headline a show. I can't cvount how many concerts I have seen in my lifetime but it is a lot so this being my first Springsteen show is odd.
Great show. 3 hours with no breaks. I could have done without the 8 songs off the new album...5 would have been okay for me. But other than that it was amazing and their little Clarence tribute during 10th Avenue Freeze Out was pretty touching and one of the reasons I love live music.

I saw Bruce last week in D.C., this was the best i've ever seen him and one of the best concerts i've ever been to. I really dig the new album so the song selection didn't bother me like it would at other concerts where the act plays the new album.

Last concert was Lollapalooza in 2011.. I caught The Cars, Artic Monkeys and the Foo Fighters. Foo Fighters did an excellent show even through two rain downpours..

Seeing Bruce for the 5th time this tour tonight. Izod Night 2 was def. the best show so far...that I've seen this tour.
Also saw Of Monsters & Men in between all the Bruce shows. They were fantastic.

I love when a tour comes through and I like all the bands on it. Great show.

Great, great show. Couple of deep cuts I wasn't expecting. Little over 3 hours.

Garbage at the El Rey on Tuesday. Incredible show. They rocked so hard, it felt like it was 1996 all over again.

I rarely go to shows but since I've been a fan of Thomas Dolby since 1983 and he's playing just a few blocks from where I live tonight, I'm going to see him. Anyone know the proper way to get something autographed after a show? Was going to bring my "Live Wireless" laserdisc.

Alabama Shakes two nights ago at the Paradise in Boston. Great show, they actually lived up to the hype (which is rare nowadays).
Avett Brothers tonight, should be another good one...
