I kinda wish they slowed Arpeggi down a bit, it's great to hear Nude finally as an album cut. So far I am a bit underwhelmed...not really any memorable guitar lines on the album and I just wasn't blown away like I wanted to be.
This is another really chill album. Videotape is a great closing track but also kinda wish it opened up vocally more to reach a climax. It seems like they treated these songs really delicately and with minimalism as the idea. I kinda wanted more layers. The strings in some of the songs are done really well though, has nice warmth to it.
With most of Radiohead's stuff that they put out lately though, it has to sink in to be fully appreciated and I will probably be saying how great it is a couple of weeks later.

Heh. I'm putting it somewhere towards the bottom of their cannon, so far.
That's not to say it's bad, but it's not jumping out at me as being any better than, say, Hail to the Thief...
My rankings, as of 3 listenings:
Kid A
OK Computer
The Bends
Hail to the Thief
Amnesiac/In Rainbows
Pablo Honey
Not quite sure where it will end up, but I'd put it on par with Amnesiac. I like Amnesiac, but it doesn't match the greatness of the 1-2-3 Bends-OK Comp-Kid A punch.
Radiohead remains my favorite active band, though.

On the discboxes: if they're making them to order, I wouldn't be surprised if the cut-off point for placing orders was quite soon. It looks like you can cancel your order at any point before it ships, so if you're even thinking about ordering it I'd probably do it now.

Brilliant work. It has everything I admire about the band, with a dose humanity that has been missing. They are undeniably my favorite band, so I cannot be objective.
I am putting it close to the top/middle with just a single listen ... but there isn't a lot of room to work with and I can always change my mind.
I gave them more money then I should of, but I looked at it as a direct "thank you" for 15+ years of great music.
