So Keaton will be the more prominent Batman than Batfleck. Pretty funny.

That appears to be where they may be going.

I love them both, but kind of odd to have Keaton with Afflecks Gordon

Yup. But now that WB/DC has said they are not making a cohesive universe on purpose they can just make this shit up as they go. So frustrating.

If Keaton’s Batman comes back via Flashpoint then it can work that his Gordon is the J.K. Simmons version.

I’ll keep an open mind, hopefully flash doesn’t disappoint

That's the first thing I thought. A "Batgirl Beyond" variant of the story with Keaton as Old Man Wayne sounds pretty great to me.

To be fair, the specific wording was
The first-ever live-action feature film to star the popular DC Super Hero, Batgirl.
Alicia Silverstone's Batgirl was more a supporting role.

Maybe. Seems like splitting hairs.

It does seem odd it's taken so long to get good portrayals of Robin or Batgirl into a live action feature.
There's so many Robins to choose from now, they could pick the one they think would sell the most tickets.

I think this makes most sense. Keaton’s Batman still has popularity. It’s a shame this is being done so far after his two Batman films where he’s likely to be relegated to a role outside of the suit, but he can still play Bruce Wayne. Maybe have some small parts in action or use some deaging tech to give us some flashbacks.

I actually don't mind him out of the suit. Keaton's Wayne is so different and distinct and intense that I'm still enthralled when he's just doing his thing.

I’m totally okay if he’s mostly Bruce Wayne too. It would be cool seeing more of him in the suit if there’s a way to make it work and not be silly too though.

Mural of Batman. Keaton’s new Batsuit?

There are other pictures out there of that mural that show Robin on it too.

They're right in the feed of the previous post with the tweet.

Looks like the mural is old. So that might not be a current Batman and Robin in the movie but an image of what they were years ago.

MY guess is that it's just a general artwork, not a direct translation of the suit. Disappointed the Robin isn't based on Marlon Wayans, as was intended in the Burton films.

Actually that would have been a good idea. Also if I recall correctly I think Marlon Wayans still gets royalties in spite of never playing the role.

Looks like a Dick Grayson maybe. So keeping with the original portrayal I guess.

I like the purple Rebirth/Burnside outfit. Seems like an homage to the Yvonne Craig look.
