Personally, I find darker skin to be more aesthetically pleasing anyway. To me black, white, Hispanic, Asian, etc only describes outward appearance and region of familial origin. It certainly doesn't describe intellect or character.
It makes me embarrassed for the human race. I'm white, but I have nothing to do with what another stupid white person does in the world, or any other race for that matter.

I think Sony owes us a remake of Steel Magnolias with a predominantly male cast. Fair's fair.

Make the men gay, and I think it'll get made.

Hmmm, that would give a unique spin to it if they told a dude named Shelby to "drink his juice".

Re: Ghostbusters (2016, D: Feig)

This movie has been retitled Ghostbusters: Answer the Call.

Almost as odd as Edge of Tomorrow is now Live. Die. Repeat. but not quite. I guess to give them the clearance for another remake in a few years, which can then be called Ghost. Bust. Repeat.

I think that's what Sony is hoping for, because you're going to listen to it eventually.

That doesn't actually look like its part of the title since it's not on the spine. I think it's just a marketing slogan they stuck under the title.

It's listed in the press release.

The UHD/3D/BD/Digital release seems like a nice package for fans

I still don't understand why all these editions that get an extended release only have the theatrical in 3D. I would rather see the extended editions of most movies and if I'm getting the 3D, want the extended in that as well...

Because post-converting additional scenes costs money. Money that Sony doesn't have because this movie was a complete and utter disaster-bomb at the box office (just ask reddit!)

Are you assuming the hacker was white?

I'm not sure if the attack was meant to be on all blacks or just this particular person.

Nope it was apparently the title all along:

That article makes a completely incorrect statement about Raiders of the Lost Ark. Makes me wonder if anything he wrote is correct.

No it doesn't. Spielberg and Lucas changed the title when the DVD boxset came out so all the films would match up.

Wrong. The title was changed ON THE COVER ONLY in 1995 for a VHS release. The title on the screen, the title when it's on tv, the title it is always listed by, remains unchanged.

I'll also add that the filmmakers of Ghostbusters have continued to fail, because everyone calls it Ghostbusters 2016 and no one was even remotely aware of this Answer The Call business. Chalk up another one for this winning team.

And the title on the box, and the title it's listed by on Amazon and other online retailers is "Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark".

If you consider onscreen titles to be definitive, then technically there's no movie called Ghostbusters -- the title card in the original film actually says "Ghost Busters".

Did you even read the story? The filmmakers wanted to call the film Ghostbusters. The studio added the subtitle to disambiguate it from the original in their catalogue.

Re: Ghostbusters (2016, D: Feig)

There's no such movie as Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark.

There's just Raiders of the Lost Ark. The other title was changed for packaging & marketing purposes only. The movie is still (and always has been) called Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Ghostbusters 2016 or Ghostbusters Answer The Call... whatever. It was a major disappointment at the box office either way.

On top of all that, Spielberg routinely refers to the 4 film saga as "The Raiders Movies".

I was drunk but didn't Feig say that he didn't want his film to be like Airport '77 and have a date attached to it. Well, he fail. Everyone has been calling it Ghostbusters 2016.

Amazon is the authority now? Hardly.

That's a completely arbitrary distinction. "Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark" is every bit as much the real title as "Star Wars: Episode IV: A New Hope".

Who's this "everyone"? Most people I've encountered simply call it "Ghostbusters," or "the new Ghostbusters," or "the Paul Feig Ghostbusters." A decade from now, nobody talking about the movie will remember when it came out any more than they know when the Total Recall or Robocop remakes did.

Amazon is the authority now? Hardly.
Oh gosh no, the name the name the movie is listed under at every major online retailer doesn't count as the film's title.

No, it's not.

They have NEVER put the, "Indiana Jones and the," on the title in the movie itself. Not a single print has ever said, "Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark."

It has ONLY been used on the packaging for the movies to make them uniform. Packaging, not the movie itself. And if you ask Spielberg, he'll say the Indiana Jones BS was only for marketing and not an official title. His final word on it is Raiders of the Lost Ark. Period.

With Star Wars they did add the, "Episode IV: A New Hope," to the prints for the first re-release and the subsequent home video versions, so that's a totally different thing.
