Some pretty decent holds given the return to regular schedules for most people.

Housemaid surprisingly will cross $100M domestically by next weekend (and a total of $150M worldwide) on a $35M budget.
I still have a few credits at Cinemark, may check it out. Maybe Is This Thing On as well.

$35M? I'm pleasantly surprised to see a movie with a reasonable budget out in the wild. It's at $200m WW.
This goes along with Anaconda ($45m budget, the same as the original) which is also doing well ($109m WW).
Still don't know how Marty Supreme got OK'd for a $70m budget. It's doing very well for its genre, but that definitely overshadows it a bit.

Thanks to Avatar 3, reigning Oscar winner Zoe Saladana just passed Samuel L. Jackson to move into 2nd place in the all-time career Box Office champ. And she's well-positioned to pass Scar Jo soon for the #1 spot.

If we're forgiving One Battle After Another for it being a prestige pic at it's budget, I think we can give Marty the same pass. Marty looks like it will actually make a profit when all is said and done.

Marty Supreme is likely already in the black since A24 sells off international rights to their films. I agree that One Battle After Another is massively over budget for the kind of movie it is (and both are overbudget for whats shown on screen) but I'm glad both exist.

Pretty poor showing for 28 Years which is unfortunate, pretty decent holds everywhere else even if Avatar is dripping a bit faster than expected

I'm rooting for 28 Years Later to be #1 when the final results are posted on Monday afternoon, but certainly Avatar 3 gets the benefit of much high average ticket price.

My god, Mercy has every premium screen showing in town this weekend and it has 💣 written all over it.
Expecting a Christie/Smashing Machine level disaster this weekend.

Should open around $10m on a $60m budget, so less of a bomb than Smashing Machine but still not great.

Lowest weekend so far this year, just poor showings all around with the crap weather.

So it seems like Avatar Fire and Ash will end up right around 380 million. That puts it solidly in 4th place for 2025. Only making a little bit more than half of Way of Water. Will it be enough to produce the other sequels? Has this franchise finally run out of steam?
Also who would have ever predicted that Minecraft would have been the movie to win 2025?

Iron Lung had a phenomenal opening. Send Help will likely leg out as it had a ton of wall up business. Not sure what to make of Melania strangely specific prediction but it has done great for a documentary.
I'm assuming the cold and snow drove Zootopia 2s +9% bump this weekend

Demo was primarily older white women, they gave it an A cinema score and like a 90% definite recommend. Basically it played like a religious movie.

Send Help
Iron Lung
Melania
Is this a boxoffice chart or an SOS message from the East Wing of the White House?

I assume a small part of Send Help's opening was last Saturday's showings?
