A story I overlooked or never heard about where a group of punks get harassesd by football players or jocks in Amarillo, Texas.
Marilyn Manson knew about this story and his commentary was in the beginning and ending of the movie and sounded similar to his Bowling for Columbine quotes.
A truly sad and fucked up story and a big miscarriage of justice but not a shock when you have narrow minded people in Texas in the law and judicial system.
The fight scene near the end was intense.
Nobody in the cast I could recognize except Lorelei Linklater but she was not a big part of the movie.
Worth a watch.

Netflix disc rental
This was awful and felt like another long Wiig sketch that went way too long and this time for 1 hr and 45 minutes.
It has a 79% critics and 59% audience score at Rotten Tomatoes?
WTF?
It should be in the 20's or lower.
Who the fuck is Annie Mumolo and how did she get the second lead?

A 2018 James Franco movie expiring on Hulu
Maybe this movie might be the last thing he would want to show to producers if he wants to leave his past allegations behind.
Cool to see Brian Cox near the end and Juno Temple and Jack Kilmer were in it.
It was ok but was not really good or great.
Jane Levy gets done doggie style in a bathroom.

This was actually pretty funny, and better than I expected it to be.

It was not as bad as the reviews and ok for entertainment on a Sat night.
Some brutal action sequences and intense sex scene with Mads going at it Winnie the Pooh style with some hoe while getting shot at.

It was a real struggle for maybe the first hour or 90 minutes and really long at 2 hrs and 38 minutes though it got better near the end.

I own this
Terrible cover artwork.
It still has its moments with the face peel in the mirror and the dead corpses coming out of the caskets though it sounds weird I kind of miss being scared shitless when I saw this as a kid.
The Jerry Goldsmith score was underrated and built up the tension and fear.
Still sad Heather O' Rourke is not with us

You Only Live Twice - the fifth James Bond film, and holy smokes this is what I'm talkin' about! This is über-Bond. In this movie, we have:
- a spaceship that eats other spaceships
- Bond sleeps with like four women and two of them end up dead, including one that gets dumped into a pond full of piranhas
- Bond flies an autogyro (a little mini-copter) and has an awesome aerial battle against four helicopters
- we see Blofeld's face for the first time in this movie, and Donald Pleasance looks creepy as hell with that fleshy scar running down across his face.
- Bond gets made up in full yellowface (!!!) and pretends to be a Japanese farmer and takes a crash course in being a ninja. He even uses a throwing star at one point.
- Blofeld's lair is the coolest ever, it's inside a volcano and he can open the roof to launch rockets out and there's a neat little monorail and did I mention the piranhas?
- during the big shootout in the lair, I noticed that Blofeld's cat is freaking. the. fuck. out. and I bet they had to use a crowbar to pry that kitty off of Donald Pleasance's arm when that scene was over
- Blofeld's main henchman was a bit disappointing, just a big strong guy but no neat gimmicks like Oddjob or Jaws. At least he does get pushed into the piranhas!
- unfortunately the title song is not very memorable either
- oh, man, lots of mild but cringey racism and sexism : picardfacepalm:
- the sets and locations and cinematography are really great, I love the look of this era of filmmaking
- the screenplay was written by Roald Dahl
- oh and a helicopter uses a giant electromagnet to pick up a car full of villains and drop them into the ocean! #yeahbitchmagnets
- classic ending with Bond and the final girl adrift in a life raft and about to consummate their fake marriage when a British submarine surfaces underneath them
Why do I feel a sudden urge to rewatch The Incredibles?

At first I thought it was Gemma Arterton playing the lead when I saw the photo on the Directv guide.
I never heard of her but she was a big voice of the female empowerment movement.
A Aussie moving to America looking to hit it big with a music career.
Evan Peters played her sleazeball husband/manager.

How lame could Zack's character be if he did not want to sleep with Judy Greer?
It had some moments but probably not for the masses and a small group of people.
it seems Galifianakis is retired or keeping a low profile or jaded by the business since he was everywhere in the early 2010's

Bloody Muscle Body Builder In Hell (1995)
Although the film is heavily inspired by The Evil Dead (1981), it remains entertaining throughout its short 62-minute run time.
Director Shinichi Fukazawa's passion for his film definitely shows up in spades.

The Lair (2022)
With a filmography that contains entries like The Descent (2005), Dog Soldiers (2002) & Doomsday (2008), it's quite odd to see Director/Writer Neil Marshall churning out uninspired garbage like this.
Once again, his partner Charlotte Kirk plays the lead role and nothing about it is memorable outside of a handful of fun death scenes.

The Witch: Part 1. The Subversion (2018)
Director/Writer Park Hoon-Jung's film is a bit stagnant until its final act, forcibly smashing elements of Hanna (2011) & Chronicle (2012).
The film is well-made but both Kim Da-Mi & Park Hee-Soon feels absolutely wasted here.

The Witch: Part 2. The Other One (2022)
Like its predecessor, the film is well-made but is an absolute wreck.
I'm not quite sure what Director/Writer Park Hoon-Jung was thinking when he tripled down on the exposition and gave viewers less of Kim Da-Mi.

Children of the Corn (2023)
Initially, I was a bit excited to hear that Director Kurt Wimmer was behind the lens for this re-imagining.
Unfortunately, outside a few interesting visuals and set-pieces, the film is pretty awful.

Hunt Her, Kill Her (2023)
To absolutely no surprise, Directors Greg Swinson & Ryan Thiessen's film is filled to the brim with misogynistic dialogue, in addition to every cat-and-mouse Horror film trope you've ever seen.
A few of the death scenes are solid but the film doesn't offer much of anything else.

If Seth Rogen won't work with him anymore, I can't imagine anyone will. I loved him in Pineapple Express but he wasn't talented enough to take a chance on at this point. His brother is doing great, at least.
