It really does amaze me how these show hosts can't let things go - it really says a lot about their lack of creating a more entertaining environment; instead they just stick to the same old boring formula.
Funny how Jimmy Kimmel had Mel on and not ONCE even talked about Mel's past bullshit and what happened?? It's prob the most entertaining appearance you'll see from Gibson on any of these types of shows.

Gotta love the double standard in Hollywood. You have a liberal pedophile rapist who's been on the run for 30+ years whom Hollywood thinks should get a free pass. Then you have a conservative who supposedly said something against the Jews while he was drunk and the liberal, mostly Jewish establishment wants him burned at the stake. Little wonder that the establishment backed a President whose party detests much of the Bill of Rights.

I saw the KTLA reporter in question in some other clip where there was a celebrity of some sort on, I think, and the celebrity was rude, so the KTLA guy threw it back in his face. Anyone know what that was?
I think Mel is being a little rude -- his sarcastic attitude whenever this gets brought up is kind of harsh -- but I think he handled this particular situation fairly diplomatically, asking if the guy was trying to be impartial, and, when the reporter said yes, calming down.
That said, there is also the distinct possibility that Mel's people have told reporters and journalists not to ask about it, in which case, I can see why Mel reacts badly whenever it comes up.
