I can kinda see where the reporter was coming from. It's nice to see some reporters who don't have short term memory and hold celebrities accountable for their actions or what they say.
I didn't think what Sam Rubin said was completely uncalled for because when you're in the public eye and make comments about a certain group you should expect to get called on it.

That said, aren't these type of interviews supposed to be just puff pieces to promote the movie? Also, the controversial comments Gibson made were while he was under the influence of alcohol. We all say some crazy stuff when we're drunk.

I think gibson handled himself rather well actually. There are many actors in hollywood that would have knocked the reporter out for a comment like that. The shit is done, move on. Bringing up something that happened almost 4 years ago was a douche move of the reporter. And honestly who cares if he said sorry or not.
