I heard that in this movie they use a version of the mask with a great big hole on the top of it so the hair can stick out.

Re: Spider-Man (2012, Marc Webb)
Apparnetly, the shitwads making this celluloid abortion didn't learn from the "Emo-Spidey" backlash against Spider-Man 3.

It turns out that the director's favorite superhero is Gambit. ;)

Re: Spider-Man (2012, Marc Webb)
Will this movie include a performance by Train singing some hot soft rock hit as well?
Looks like the studio has its hands all around this one. |
Re: Spider-Man (2012, Marc Webb)
Twider-Man, shudder... At least he doesn't have Bieber hair? That's not much consolation, i know...

Re: Spider-Man (2012, Marc Webb)
This may be absolutely abysmal.. looks like they're trying to rope in a younger crowd. How did the rights not revert back to Marvel?
|
Re: Spider-Man (2012, Marc Webb)
i don't give a shit what his hair looks like. if he's better than tobey was as spidey, i'll be happy. emma stone looks great.

Re: Spider-Man (2012, Marc Webb)
how much are the rights and why isn't Disney fighting for them in some battle of buying it?
|
Re: Spider-Man (2012, Marc Webb)
Fox and Sony would probably be asking for an arm and a leg for the rights but hopefully at the very least FF and Daredevil go back to Marvel. Apparently Blade has reverted back and Marvel announced last year they got The Punisher back.
The big one though to me is getting back the Fantastic Four and opening up the galactic universe. |
Re: Spider-Man (2012, Marc Webb)
Yeah, i'm sure a buyout would cost hundreds of millions, given the merchandise and profit Fox or Sony have made off of X-Men and Spider-man properties. I can't imagine them easily giving those up.

Just....assume w/ what it's made plus all the merchandise..etc etc. etc....like..how much? Billion.5?

Re: Spider-Man (2012, Marc Webb)
Yeah, Disney bought Marvel for $4 billion, if the papers are correct. Spending over half that (if that is even the amount that would be agreed upon) for just one property (albeit a huge one) when they could just kick back and make the money off of Sony definitely seems like the better option for now.

First shot of Andrew Garfield in costume
See a high-res image at the link above. Could those be small, metal webshooters on the bottom of his wrists? No more organic webbing? http://1dl.us/eyP.jpg |

Odd, Slashfilm's image kills some of the color and detail. Here's the same image over at The Playlist:
