I believe Bombshell has two eyes, but the two had that "visor-type" look.

as the voice of reason ....

lets think about the original source material. some not uncommonly sketchy transforming toys and some very low-quality, simple cartoons.

Some transformers are going to look different. And THANK GOD. Do I want an Ironhide transformer that looks like the toy in this movie? NO. Do i want a three color, generic looking Ironhide? also NO.

I think the job of the filmmakers and designers is to enhance the design of the originals, while hopefully being somewhat faithful to the core components. If there's multiple eyes, so be it.

Shockwave, for example, should have one eye. Prime should look like a truck. Bumblebee should look like ... a bug. (DOH.) But to be honest, the yellow color could very well be far more "core" to bumblebee's character.

An insecticon should look like an insect. And that just might justify some additional eyes.

I believe those are supposed to be placeholders for what would be car doors on a Transformer's back. Think of Prowl in robot mode back in the old show.

Any chance of a Dino Bot cameo? Of course I mean real Dino Bots, not an updated Ironhide that looks like a DinoBot.

As far as I recall, Don Murphy, one of the producers of this feature, is very anti-Dinobot and anti-Insecticon. I doubt we'll see any of either. Though a flashback cameo would be nice.

Yeah, but the Camaro would probably get that too, from the high end sports cars. Camaros in general weren't exactly elite cars.

I think it's a good fit

But according to the pics, doesn't he go from Zero(old Camaro) to Hero(New Camaro)? I think it fits.

Also, towards the end of the animated run, didn't Bumblbee get rebuilt as a different car altogether? I think he took a different name as well.
