I think that's fair. No one can apparently do a G1 Transformers ANYTHING and not "update" it for today.

After "Beast Wars" I held out hope for the new series. What do we get? A fucking POKEMON ripoff. Goddamn Mini-cons.

It's frustrating because it's so simple: Optimus Prime is a big red semi, Megatron is a gun, Starscream is a jet and Bumblebee is a VW beetle. Done. End of story. Every 30-year old male would see the movie. Throw the Dinobots in there and it would be the best damn movie ever made

Uh, no it's actually pronounced Peter Cullen. Oh wait I see what you did. You combined that name with Megatron's voice actor. Frank Welker, not Weller. Actually maybe RoboCop would be an OK voice if they couldn't use the REAL voice.

one thing i like about that teaser page countdown thing is the music. it makes the movie seem like itll be a little darker than the old cartoons were (which isnt hard to do of course). im not sure what itll be rated - hopefully at least pg -13.
