I couldn't take my eyes off the screen, it was that gorgeous. The story was so-so but the ride was fantastic all throughout. I loved the aquarium posse especially when they were spewing dentistry terminology. LOVED Allison Janney as the starfish--"eBay!"
Personal note, it may have been pushing it, but on the ride home, as I was listening to "Under the Sea", I figured a cameo by Sebastian would've been cool.

I found it on Kazaa, just to be certain, and sure enough, huge breasts on both.
I guess I can't complain, it IS a G-rated movie. I hope they include the unedited version on the DVD, even as a hidden feature. The enormous breasts really add to the humor. It is funny enough as it is, but they just get me rolling.

Excellent, excellent movie. Just the right mix of heart and humor with a big sense of adventure.
I still can't believe how beautiful the movie looked.
The only bad thing is that it's still 17 months until The Incredibles is released.

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Walt Disney Co.'s underwater cartoon "Finding Nemo" doused its rivals at the North American box office by selling $70.6 million worth of tickets in its first three days of release, the company said on Sunday.
Not a bad weekend.

John Ratzenberger
John Ratzenberger has been in ever Pixar movie. Is he the only person to have had a part in every Pixar movie? Why does Pixar like him, so much?
Toy Story 1 and 2: Hamm
A Bug's Life: P.T. Flea
Monsters, Inc.: Yeti
Finding Nemo: School of Fish

I really liked it. I thought it was very funny and sweet... I thought it looked great, but my only complaint is the murkyness of the underwater scenes...now I know this was intentional, and it's realistic, but it's just not that great to look at... don't get me wrong, most of this movie is dazzling visually, but I found the strongest visual scenes to be the "tank" or out of water stuff, because the colours were nice and vivid...
I loved the turtles... Crush was hilarious and his kid was wicked...that is by far my favourite scene... PIXAR fans shouldn't be disappointed. I give it 4 out of 5, and it ranks just behind Monsters Inc. and Toy Story 2 in the PIXAR cannon (IMO).

Saw it. Very entertaining and time well spent. Once again, Pixar proves how valuable it is for Disney's livelihood in terms of animation. I honestly feel that Pixar's work is a level above other Disney fare, both animated and live-action; it just seems to have a little more direction about what it wants to accomplish and tells better stories.
The characters in this movie were probably the best developed of a Pixar production, aside from those in the Toy Story series. Albert Brooks more than compensated for the wrong turn in The In-Laws with this, and I actually found myself laughing at Ellen Degeneres instead of being annoyed by her. I give it a big
and hope for a packed DVD in the future.

Went to see Nemo yesterday -- totally misjudged the interest for this film and blithely expected to walk up and buy 5 tickets for a Saturday matinee showing. Hahahaaha.
Anyway, two hours and three movie theaters later, we finally saw Finding Nemo which was, as everyone has stated, breathtaking. I think the theme -- how parents need to "let go" of their children and let them face peril on their own -- is an extremely sophisticated and difficult concept to capture in an adult drama, never mind a kids animated feature. But Nemo hit the nail right on the head -- by turns touching, funny, a bit scary, and in the end, heartywarming.
Four starfish out of four. Good flick!

Just got back and must agree with everyone else. The movie was great and deserves to rake in the dough (as apparently it is).
As good as I believe this film is, I am surprised that I have yet to read a negative or even neutral review about it. All good films have their detractors and critics but this one seems to be immune. The worst I have read is it is not Pixar "at it's best" (but that review said it was still a great film).
If this film is not the biggest grosser of the year, I'll be very surprised. The DVD should break all records as well. The animated film Oscar is probably secured and quite possibly a Best Picture nomination as well. It is at least as good as Beauty and the Beast.

Is there a voice actor who’s just brought you an exceptional level of joy?
Unkrich: We call John Ratzenberger “Our Little Lucky Charm.” We just couldn’t imagine making a movie without him — and I doubt we ever will make a movie without him.

I doubt the acadamy will make an exception to this movie sicne there is already a best animated movie catagory. BATB came out when there wasn't a such catagory.

Speaking of.. what other animated movies are being released this year? After being ROBBED of the first animated feature award, I think Pixar deserves to take home the gold this year.

Well, DreamWorks has something totally different on the horizon for next year...it's an undersea comedy! "Sharkslayer"
This summer, they have "Sinbad" which suffers from a complete lack of this guy:

Disney's animated feature coming in November is "Brother Bear", with songs by Phil Collins.
"Sinbad" and "Brother Bear" seem likely candidates for nominations alongside "Nemo."
There's Nickelodeon's "The Rugrats Goes Wild" which puts two of their TV franchises back on the big screen in one fell swoop.

All of their previous films began their run with outtakes and then they would send a new end reel with new outtakes like a month later(I was a projectionist for all of the previous releases or I saw them opening weekend). Based on history I would guess that this one will not have outtakes and I think that is fitting as this movie kind of relies on you believing Marlin's love and dedication for his son as the whole movie is about that. I would think that outtakes would cheapen that by making it seem like it was a movie and not just you following Marlin throughout the movie looking for his son. None of the previous Pixar films have relied so heavily on that kind of setup and have not been so serious.

AND, this movie already has stuff happening through out the credits. Various characters, including Mike from Monsters, Inc., swim by and interact with the credits. There's no place to put outtakes, unless they remove the character interaction.
