I think its just a typo on the 4k back cover but it says "Feature: 1080p" That's not right for a 4k disc.

BD Deluxe Japan Collector's Edition packaging is identical to the JP release. Despite what the back slip says, English subtitles is included (4K UHD, BDs including Godzilla Minus One/Minus Color). As announced before, extras BD doesn't include English subtitles.

Watched this last night in glorious 4K. Excellent presentation and overall quality. What a fun, well made movie. The menus allow English to be chosen right away and the subs were perfect. Yeah, I paid a good buck for this set but it was well worth it, IMO. I am super happy with it.

I should be getting this tomorrow. can't wait to watch again on a physical disc.

Mine came today (got the notice on Thursday). It's a beautiful looking set, though my J card has a little ding on one corner. Still very glad to have this in hand now.

what's a J card?

A J card is the paper that usually covers the back of the packaging, the bottom and usually about an inch of the front of the package. They are "J" shaped from the side. They print the information about the contents on it so the hard box and be free of a bunch of text. Arrow uses them on their limited edition hard box releases (at least they were up until The Warriors, that one started using a big slipcover for the hard box).

My copy finally left Texas this morning after getting the tracking info 4 days ago. Says it will arrive Friday.

Why? It’s a stupid paper insert that just tells you the contents. It’s the box set underneath that matters. Those seem to mess the set up. I like em bear, no blobby glued inserts or J cards. I thought people had a fetish for slipcovers. When did this J card become a thing?

These posts are making me excited for November. I went the cheap route and will be getting the standard US version from DiabolikDVD.

I’m getting the US SteelBook 4K version. Yes, I have the Japanese set, but that SteelBook is beautiful and at least what ever extras are on it, are in English.

Ditto, even though like most here I've already seen the film. And pretty boxes are nice and over-priced and all, but for this film in particular I want supplements that I can actually understand and not just watch and assume I got the gist of it (and as mentioned earlier, I'm fine if they trim down all the 'opening day' intros and that kind of stuff because it's very repetitive). Now if only some American boutique would get to releasing (or re-releasing) this director's previous films over here, as many of the old Japanese editions did have worthy supplements considering his background. The Japanese DVD edition of Returner, for example, had nearly four hours of extras, unsubbed, while the US DVD had about 75 minutes worth. Those were still well chosen, but in light of his success with MINUS ONE, there are definitely some opportunities in his back catalog.
