From the looks of it I get the credit regardless of my membership being complimentary. Mine hasn’t shown up yet because my sign up date was November 29th. Should be December 29th.

A24 sent out another free ticket today. For the movie Babygirl with Nicole Kidman that opens next week. Now this one I'm interested in.

Re: The A24 Shop Exclusive Blu-ray / UHD Thread

I finally figured out the app last week and saw my free ticket to Queer. Wasn’t close enough to me to be worth a trip, but next week’s is in my area.

Are the monthly credits a brand new thing? Still showing $0 for me and I’ve been a member just over a year.

I was actually planning to cancel last week, but with the tickets and credits, and being grandfathered in to $5 a month, guess I’ll stay if the credits show up.

Yes, they revamped the whole program a couple weeks ago. You should have received an email about it. The most major changes are the movie tickets to most opening weekends and the $5/month credit (holding up to $25 max). And, of course, the price changing to $10/month. If you're grandfathered at the $5/month, it seems like it'd probably be a pretty good deal to hold onto it.

I really wish they would ramp up the production of releasing titles. Recent films like Problemista still have not gotten a Blu-ray release. They have a backlog of older titles without releases too, many of which could easily be market with the actors or directors involved.

The only drawback that I see in the membership, especially since the price was grandfathered for me, is that you can only collect up to $25 credit at a time. I wonder how big of a problem it was with people waiting until a Black Friday sale to use their membership discount and order a bunch of stuff. At least this way, they might see a little more activity throughout the year.

Yeah, it seems like it will end up being one ~$10 disc every 5 months if you maximize the credits.

I was at my local Barnes & Noble B&M earlier today and saw that they had an A24 end cap with a good handful of titles.

They had the big book versions of Midsommar (2019), Everything Everywhere All At Once (2022), The Green Knight (2021) & The Lighthouse (2019), with some being 4K and others being BD.

Also on the end cap were 4Ks of Lamb (2021), The Zone of Interest (2023) and BDs of Aftersun (2022) & Showing Up (2022).

It seems they are now going to start wide-releasing titles now. Heretic and We Live In Time Blu-rays are up on Amazon.
The Heretic 4K is exclusive to the A24 store. The WLIT Blu has exclusive artwork.

The Witch 4K, released by Lionsgate, looks like it’s out of print now. What are the chances A24 are releasing their own version soon?

I now have $15 in accumulated credit from my membership. Maybe I’ll use it on The Brutalist.

Re: The A24 Shop Exclusive Blu-ray / UHD Thread

I got The Brutalist 4K. This is my 1st blind buy in ages. Came out to $22.95 with tax and shipping. I wanted to see it in the theater, but just never found the time. With my credits, I think it's worth it.

Maybe it would have come out on HBO Max in April or May?

Re: The A24 Shop Exclusive Blu-ray / UHD Thread

It'd be nice if A24 did a Shop Exclusive release of Under the Silver Lake, since the only region A options are the MOD US release and the Japanese release (that has optical blurring on one scene). Plus the comics from the movie and a lot of the imagery from the film makes sense to be in the book packaging that they seem to love doing. But it's a polarizing movie so it will probably never happen.

I got an email today that my copy of The Brutalist 4K is finally shipping from the A24 store. It officially comes out the 25th, so it should arrive by release date,

Re: The A24 Shop Exclusive Blu-ray / UHD Thread

The A24 club customer service is pretty awesome.

I initially redeemed my free ticket to see Materialists for Saturday, but now I can't go because I'm going to Disneyland instead. I didn't want to lose that ticket, so I emailed their customer service and asked if I could cancel the reservation for Saturday and use it Sunday instead.

They got back to me within 24 hours and said No problem. Issued me a new voucher and I got my ticket for Sunday instead.

These free A24 tickets come in handy when my A-List reservations are full and they currently are.

$5 per month for a free monthly movie ticket worth $12, credits to use for 4Ks or BDs and discount prices at the A24 shop. I mean that's a pretty solid deal IMO>

Re: The A24 Shop Exclusive Blu-ray / UHD Thread

So who here is still a member of the A24 membership? For the $5 launch price, it's so worth it. If I'm not mistaken, I think it's $10/month now.

Tomorrow is my birthday and A24 emailed me a list of things I could choose from one being an A24 shop gift card worth $25 and of course I chose that. Going to use it for a future 4K purchase.
