Yeah, I still am. Normally, I would have cancelled it after the Black Friday trial from dex14's link, but with the grandfathered price and the free tickets (which I think had just been added a few months before), it seemed like a decent enough deal to let it run. I've used the free ticket often enough to pay for the monthly fee itself, so the $5 monthly store credit and the $25 birthday gift card have just been additional icing. I used it to buy the Brutalist the other month. And this month's zine mailer is going to have the scratch-off card again, which should probably be good for at least a gift card. I accidentally let last year's scratch-off card expire without redeeming it (I think I won a $10 gift card), so I won't make that mistake again.

I don't see any birthday award in my account yet. But checking the A24 site, I saw that they announced the X trilogy in 4K. I had been waiting for that one for a while

I feel like last year, they had a big black friday promotion on the A24 website (30% off?), so I may hold off until then to catch up on their 4K releases. They've been unreliable on what they release in 4K, I've gotten out of just jumping on each release, so I'm missing a few from Warfare on.

yeah, I have another week, so maybe I'll still get it. But I'm also bad about seeing these types of emails (I always miss the Criterion Channel rewards too).

Is the birthday gift every year, or a one-time thing?

I got a $10 gift card on my scratch off card. Don't forget (like I did last year) to redeem the code online to claim your prize before it expires on Dec. 31.

Looking at the rules, it looks like the chances of getting a prize are:

$5 gift card: 27%
$10 gift card: 23%
$24 gift card: 17%
Grand Prize (1998 Mercedes Benz SL500): 0.001%

So, I guess about 1/3 of cards win nothing.

Is the birthday gift sent out the day of a person’s birthday? Mine is on Friday the 17th and I haven’t seen anything yet. I was having issues with my credits applying for a bit so making sure that I’m not being forgotten about.

The email is sent a day before. And the GC is not your only choice. They also have some other A24 merch you can choose from, although it mostly sucks, so I would go with the $25 GC.
