My pre-order from OrbidDVD is on route and I should have it in my hands by this weekend.

From early reviews, it appears that the framing issue on part 3 was fixed. Arrow never acknowledged there was a mistake in the first place, but I guess since the discs come from new 4k scans, they took the opportunity to fix the framing.

I can't wait to dive in the set just in time for Halloween.

Sure, but it’s not affiliated and it was made and released by a different studio. Only thing it had in common was Dino Delaurentis production company. And it was considered a major flop back then.

I said fuck it and jumped on it for that price. If they honor it, then cool. If not, no biggie.

What is Amazon smoking? Diabolik has it for $59.99. Arrow has it for $60.00 (was $55.00 until recently).

Amazon usually prices everything at MSRP when listings first go up. They’ll drop eventually.

It’s a sister site of Deep Discount, Movies Unlimited, and that whole bunch. Although I remember ordering from them more back in the day for…errrr, import CDs.

When they consolidated all those CD and DVD media sites under distributor DirectToU, they stopped honoring mistake prices if they happened to catch the error. Honestly, rushing to post a price mistake from any of their sister sites (ImportCDs, Deepdiscount, etc) is a surefire way to get the order canceled these days.

They usually slip through if only one or two people order at the wrong price.

I know nobody cares, but for those that did read what I wrote - I don't want it to affect them possibly purchasing it: I don't know if I ever cleared up my brief review here about the recent 4K release of American Werewolf in London, but in it I had said that the film didn't look that great compared to the blu-ray and I was dead wrong - wanted to just clear that up. The 4K version is outstanding....I just didn't spend much time viewing before my write-up.

I've heard labels are having difficulty with pressing facilities keeping up with the holiday rush. You would think they'd anticipate these problems but since physical media is on the wane, the few remaining manufacturing plants are overbooked.

Pre-ordered in Aug. Received email that Barbarella has shipped. Delivery between Nov 25 and Nov 28.
