Apparently Heated Rivalry is getting a 4K release. If you don’t know what that is, it’s the gay hockey romance show on HBO Max. Womean apparently love it.

Stupid show

A couple of my co-workers love the show, but they basically say it's gay porn. It was one of the most high profile new shows on HBO Max last year.

Since this is not a review thread, I won't dwell on it any further. It's obviously not for the vast majority here.

^ It’s also quite popular worldwide. I don’t watch tv shows in general (too many movies) but I did see bits of an episode because of the director’s history on LETTERKENNY and SHORESY (both of which I did see on DVD) and the production quality is there alongside the, uhh, content, so I can see why the show has caught on in various circles and especially with women. It’s not in my ‘zone’ but I also don’t think it’s porn, per se. There seem to plenty of shows these days rightfully pushing the envelope in terms of steamy content, straight, gay, and inbetween. Not that Canadian awards matter in the greater scheme of things, but It was also nominated in a ton of categories in our Canadian Screen Awards this past weekend and swept them all.
