Is it appropriate for a nine year old? I don't mind comic book violence as long as it doesn't have a lot of bad language.

Not in the U.S., as far as I can tell.

Zavvi’s steelbook is sold out too.

Also, I hear that Batman vs. TMNT is not streaming on DC Universe (at least not right now).

I guess is the same reason why we didn't get any special release of this movie. Rights reason. The movie rights are shared with Nickelodeon (owner of the TMNT) and IDW (publisher of TMNT)

Re: DC Animated Universe Films

I'm kind of surprised IDW would have any movie rights, don't they just license the comics from Nick? Or was it based on an IDW comic?

Re: DC Animated Universe Films

I wasn’t interested before in a what I think is a cheesy, how the hell can they crossover these characters in a serious animated movie? Even though I used to love and collect TMNT comics when I was younger. Never got into any of the cartoons and movies. Just comics. I love Batman too and this seems like a winner. What were reviews? I really hope Hush is good. I can’t see another bad Batman animated, imo, movie.

Batman vs. TMNT is fucking awesome. Everything I love about both characters. Some humor of course, but brutal too. A fucking Chinese star to the head? Awesome!

Did anyone stick around after the end credits of Batman vs. TMNT? They set it up for a cool sequel that they hopefully make.

I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for one. I've heard licensing that movie was a bear since it involved an outside license (the Turtles). Be glad we got one movie.

i thought Batman: Hush was ok. nothing great. certainly not as fun or brutal as the Ninja Turtles team up. too bad.
