That Batman: Ninja movie looks sort of interesting. Seems like something out of an Elseworlds tale. Kind of odd that they’re doing two like that pretty close together. If anything I’d rather see Red Son first but I’ll still check it out.

I know. I'm saying as a couple of others that he's wearing a Samurai outfit.

I saw that Gotham by Gaslight is for preorder at target in steelbook, do companies usually flip flop like with the Adam West one at Best Buy then back to Target?

Glad they are back at Target. Much closer to me than Best Buy and I get the Red Card discount.

Surprisingly still available for pre-order. Usually the steelbook version pre-order gets taken down after a couple of days.

DCAU are either going for the R rating or the MPAA is getting stricter. As i thought Dark Knight Returns and the Suicide Squad movie Assault on Arkham deserved R ratings

Is this being released theatrically? I thought direct to video releases don't require an MPAA rating.

It looks like the Best Buy exclusive of Gotham by Gaslight is a book.

I guess I'm getting the SB; that looks like a reprint of the comic.

the big ones seem to get one night only Fathom Events releases. I think all of the DCAU movies have MPAA ratings

also speaking of the MPAA something called Suicide Squad: Hell To Pay is Rated R for strong bloody violence throughout, sexual content, brief graphic nudity and some drug material. doing a google search it is a DCAU movie and should be out/ready by spring of this year so keep an eye for that

Re: DC Animated Universe Films

Suicide Squad: Hell To Pay 4K preorder is already up. I guess they are doing 4K releases on these animated movies going forward. Hopefully the quality improves. The last release was rough.

Re: DC Animated Universe Films

So far those that were rated R didn't deserve that rating in any way.

Re: DC Animated Universe Films

Not a typical DCAU film but Scooby-Doo! and Batman: The Brave and the Bold came out today on DVD and digital. I’ll probably grab it as it looks sorta fun.

Cool. Thanks for the heads up. I loved the BB series and I think it ended too early.

It was a FUN-FILLED Romp from beginning to end with lots of twists and turns.
Gets a solid 'A' from me.

Re: DC Animated Universe Films

Based on the details listed on that Green Band, it appears we might get our first DC animated movie actually worthy of the R Rating.
