Will there be a separate pricing thread with all the prices?
I think $22.99 for the blu-ray/dvd combo might be the same price at most stores?

Interesting, so on disc 2, they have the movie again, but in a Maximum Movie type mode with interviews and behind the scenes material edited in. Unfortunately the interstitial material isn't broken up separately.

apparently too it runs through the entire movie (ie its not bts footage during certain scenes)

I wouldn't be surprised if WB originally planned to pull the same bullshit that Paramount pulled with STID.

I find this part of the review interesting,
New Zealand: Home to Middle Earth (1080p; 6:35). You can explain to me why this Hobbit related supplement is included, because I frankly have no idea.

Review of the 2D release. It got a 5/5 in both audio and video.

But then i saw the screencaps in that review and any enthusiasm i had to see any of it again got sucked out the air hatch. Am I really in that small a minority that thinks the visuals for this film/disc are amongst the ugliest they've ever seen? They aren't only stylized in an aggressively artificial way ( which I find completely at odds with a production that otherwise thinks it's 'grounding' the character) but its not even an enjoyable stylization. Besides being cliched and overused, it's utterly monotonous and dreay. Everyone has the skin tones of a cadaver. 90% of those images are teal or orange, or teal & orange. it's so overbaked in the T&O department, I have to wonder if its actally meant to be a parody.
Really wish I could wrap my head around the mindset of people that actually enjoy and gravitate to this aesthetic.

The whole aesthetic matches the film, which is sadly dour and no fun. Was this shot digitally or bleach bypassed or something, or did Snyder really just think it was a good idea to suck all of the color out of it in post?

I'd probably have more issue with the contrast levels. T&O was fine for me cuz of the contrast levels but also...in some bits the contrast levels were not good for certain scenes. I'm looking at you bland cg buildings being fucked up.

Despite having a whole lot of problems with this at my lone theatrical viewing, I was still planning on picking this up on disc and just using it as an extended trailer/demo disc- skipping over everything I found inane or wrong-headed.

This was shot on actual film. I didn't see any orange, only what registered to me as blue (teal to me is a brighter color than what I saw here.)

Here's a random shot Cavill took with a kid on the set:

Another on-set shot with some woman:

Here's a picture of the costume under harsh convention lighting:

Here's a random behind the scenes shot:

Here's a random screenshot of the movie:

Tweaking was obviously done. It's just not as extreme as people seem to think.
That's not to say that there wasn't tinkering in post, of course. Just look at this extreme example:

But the scenes leading up to and following that one, aren't that extreme.
It's in scenes like the interrogation, inside the Kryptonian ships, when the World Engine is doing it's thing, and Lois in the Artic that have that extreme blue shift. Everything else looks pretty much normal.
