I asked a friend if his HD download of the film from iTunes came with any special features and he says that it came with a few minutes of the documentary that's included in the Wal-Mart one.

I initially drooled over the Target steelbook and BB digipack, but I'm just too lazy to get up early just to get to the store and possibly discover they're out. I work PM shift, so mornings make me cranky.

Of the three places with the exclusive bonuses, Wal-Mart's sounds the best. Something like this is the only way to get me into that place I might add.

Even though Target has the best looking case the exclusive content can be found on YouTube.

Very annoyed with all the exclusivity nonsense. This is a day one buy for me because I loved the movie but I want a nice set with all the features. I'm not buying it three times. No idea what these people are thinking. I'll look for the steelbook because it looks the coolest. The docs are probably silly featurettes anyway. Even the Wal Mart one... look at the subtitle. I think it's just a featurette about the horses. Still, it's obnoxious that they split them all up. What I'd REALLY like is some Tarantino commentary.

In other words, none of the exclusive features sound like they're of great value.

FYI, the Walmart bonus disc, "Reimagining the Spaghetti Western: A Making Of Documentary", is a DVD and is 23:19 long

Saw this over the weekend and it was fantastic.

Opened up the Sunday paper and saw the Target Steel Book exclusive. I think that's the way I'll be going.

The Target down the road from me got in exactly zero steelbooks. (A dude in the video department scoured the section looking for 'em and everything.) Plenty of copies of the regular BD but no steelbooks. Oh well.
