Be sure to keep checking HamiltonBooks, seems like I get a new 3D title from them every other month or so. Up to 246 3D titles with my last order.

Hong Kong retailer Buyoyo is listing some "pre-orders" for what's likely additional runs of certain 3D titles, to be released on 2021/07/21. These are all at least Region A, so playable in the US. There's some bargain prices there, at least before shipping. Note that quite a lot of the single-disc titles have the 3D disc ONLY, so will not come with a bonus disc, or sometimes not even the 2D version.
Also, make sure you click on the correct Blu-ray. It may be the second or third on the product page. I'm including the product code at the end of the description so you can check. I'm spoilering the list due to size:
----
In addition to the above pre-orders, the following are part of a 3 for HK$249(US$32.1) promotion:
You can check out the 2D titles that are part of this promotion here:
https://www.buyoyo.com/buyoyo/eng/Vi...ype=B&prtype=0
-----
Some other 3D titles that are cheap or not available in the US in 3D:
-----
You can also use this search to see other 3D Blu-rays they have, although the list includes some titles that aren't 3D Blu-rays, so be sure to double check before buying:
https://www.buyoyo.com/buyoyo/eng/Gl...roductType2=56
Finally, note that shipping is based on "Delivery Unit," with most Blu-rays being 1 DU, and the shipping is in tiers, with more DUs bumping you into higher tiers. So sometimes, cutting one title out of your cart could save you a lot of money, or adding one more won't cost you any more in shipping:

Boss Baby (3D)…I’ll tell ya, this wasn’t the most original thing I saw, many homages, but also unintentional and blatant copy of a lot of Toy Story. But, it held its own and was quite enjoyable. Surprisingly so. I had a lot of fun and the 3D was great. Pixar worthy for sure. Just gorgeous, depth, popout, very nice.

3D Film Archive sent an update yesterday regarding work being nearly finished on SHOGUN WOMEN, and they added the following:
I was hoping they might've finally gotten the go-ahead for MONEY FROM HOME, but Bob Furmanek replied that that's not happening yet. I'd still be stoked for BWANA DEVIL, I THE JURY, HANNAH LEE or ROBOT MONSTER, for starters.
Standby for our next 3-D campaign to launch on Kickstarter next week. This pre-order for a restored 3-D Blu-ray of a Golden Age gem has been one of our most requested titles over the past decade. You're going to love it!

How’s the live action Aladdin in 3D? Anyone see the Maleficents?

Question - can someone explain why 3D is still being released on disc/digital well after TV manufacturers have killed adding it to their TV's? Is it still making money for them? I'm at a loss why they still seem to be readily available, especially on titles that never had a theatrical release in 3D. I still buy them occasionally, but I know we are in the minority.

They do still include 3D in projectors. But yeah, that would seem to be a small slice of people as well.
No clue what the sales figures are, but I do still buy them too.

Every bit of revenue counts? There are lots of titles regular 2D movies coming out that many would question the value of releasing on disc at all, especially the lower-budget and indie stuff, but there must still be some money in it, especially as the costs of replication and manufacturing have undoubtedly come down. While theatrical 3D doesn't seem to be going away entirely (Black Widow, Boss Baby, Jungle Cruise, Dune), there have been movies released theatrically in 3D that never got the 3D Blu-ray equivalent, so I wouldn't be surprised if that became more common.

I think I'd just add that Kino continues to have regular 3D releases. Vinegar Syndrome released its first 3D title in the last year and have already announced another one. If they weren't reliable sellers, I'd think they'd drop them.

Was going to point out the Kino and VS releases. Severin recently released an old religious scare film from the Earl Owensby studios library, which has largely been untapped in the DVD and Blu-ray era. While that film isn't 3D, Owensby produced at least six that were, and I'm hopeful that Severin may have access to those now and will consider 3D disc releases. As I noted a while back, Bob Furmanek of the 3D Archive recently announced that a new kickstarter for a 'golden age' 3D title would be starting this week. It's not up yet – delayed a few days apparently – but his campaigns routinely bring in double or near-double of the actual money they ask for (e.g. they requested $8,500 for SHOGUN WOMEN and got $22,000) so clearly there's a demand even for vintage stuff, even if it's niche.

Niche and 3D. Yeah, projectors still to an extent release with 3D capability (that's how I watch 3D). I thought we'd see the death of the format in terms of releases, but clearly not. And I guess 3D is somewhere between not being big enough to be on TV's, but big enough to profit to the small group of 3D enthusiasts.

3D Film Archive is doing a lot of work getting those catalog titles out, both via Kino and Vinegar Syndrome.
3dfilmarchive
Major studios have mainly stopped releasing catalog titles in 3D.
For new films, 3D post-conversions seem to keep being made largely for the theatrical audience. There seems to continue to be enough of an audience for 3D in the theaters to justify continuing to produce these 3D post-conversions. The home video market is almost an afterthought. Some are being released in 3D exclusively on streaming platforms like Vudu and FandangoNow.
For 3D Blu-rays, the thought seems to be "why not?" since they already have the 3D version they made for theaters. However, this is getting dialed back. Disney just stopped releasing 3D Blu-rays; the latest Pixar and Disney Animation titles didn't get a 3D Blu-ray in any region. WB seems to make one 3D Blu-ray master they release in every country, so it's loaded up with subtitles, coded for every region, and sometimes missing the Dolby Atmos track. Sony has been a bit spotty in their releases lately, with Gemini Man only coming out in 3D in Germany, and Jumanji: The Next Level only getting a 3D release in Australia this month, over a year after the 2D release. Universal went MOD with their 3D releases in the US; WB actually did that too. So it seems like 3D Blu-ray is a small but dedicated niche that is still justified in most cases, but there's still a good number of titles that don't get a 3D Blu-ray.
Edit: one option for watching 3D movies on a new device, aside from projectors, are the VR headsets. Most of them have an app or ability to play a 3D movie. It's a bit more insular an experience, since only one person can watch at a time, but it's available.

Anyone have this one? I’m not sure how I never heard about it. Saw differing opinions on this one. But, for those that have…good, cheesy 80’s fun? Good 3D?

Maleficent was magnificent. In story, acting and certainly CGI. The 3D was gorgeous. Nice depth, nice colors. Made the movie that much more enjoyable to the point of getting chills at end. We both did. I didn’t even get that obvious “true loves kiss”. Really thought it was:
I think I saw this many moons ago but don’t remember and inkling bc of the person I was with, I just didn’t like her. 2 movies I’ve seen with her. This and The Giver. Hated The Giver and don’t remember Maleficent for reasons previously stated.
This was very enjoyable. Always love Jolie the actor. Don’t think I’ve seen one of her directorial efforts, but as an actress she can be damn fun to watch. This, Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Of course Wanted. Girl, Interrupted, Bone Collector. Hell, she’ a good actress. And love these action type roles. She can do it all I guess. And gives back so much. But, hell of a 3D Blu. Have Mistress of Evil, but probably do live action Aladdin first.

This seems like their fastest Kickstarter yet. Barely up a day and it’s already headed to a doubling of the initial ask. Great set of supplements, too. Mind you, this is one of the holy grails, mostly thanks to copyright-holder Wade Williams withholding much of his catalog during the entire Blu-ray era. Seems like he’s finally opening up the vaults for this and some other titles (2D) in the offing, or at least facing reality about the niche (and ever dwindling) market for so many of the gems in his collection. Williams has also sat on CAT WOMEN OF THE MOON for ages, so hopefully this a sign that 3D Archive will be working on that one next. Last versions of these I owned were the old anaglyphic Rhino VHS editions!

anyone have this? Most I’ve seen is it borrows from the best like Star Wars. What sci-fi epic since 1977 doesn’t? And, I think Blu-ray.com reviewer 3D was too intense for his eyes. Not sure what that meant.
My ultimate would be Treasure of the Four Crowns. Don’t remember movie too much, but remember first and might be only 3D movie I saw in 80’s. It was exciting and I think I remember having fun for a not so great movie. I so want that!!

I've got METALSTORM. As you figured, it borrow from better-known films but really doesn't do much with them other than cash in with a cool poster, typical of so many Charles Band productions of the era. I thought it was fairly dull, but the 3D makes it worth owning if you can get it cheap. There are some strong pop-outs (many viewable in the trailer) because weapons and mechanical arms are frequently thrust into the camera. So there's that.
I'd also like to see FOUR CROWNS in a 3D edition, which I've always assumed is a likelihood eventually. I wanted to see that one in 3D as a kid, but never got around to it until it turned up in a 2D four-movie collection from Shout a few years ago. As a film, though, I found it only slightly less dull than METALSTORM – and there were plenty of scenes that would be a lot of fun in 3D – but not as good as COMIN' AT YA from the same crew.

Just noticed that the Kickstarter for ROBOT MONSTER is now approaching four times the original ask, which I'm pretty sure is a record for the 3D Film Archive. And for a film so widely derided over the years, no less! Still 28 days to go. So far they're at just over 600 copies sold, with nearly a month still to go (plus whatever Kino sells in the long run), so anyone wondering why they still bother releasing 3D discs, this might be at least a partial answer.
Not fond of the lenticular insert being a $15 add-on this time around, when they were simply included on previous releases. That's pretty gouge-y. I noticed they're also forcing non-USA buyers to use forwarding services to get their products, which usually ends up costing a whole lot more. They at least shipped to Canada on previous projects, so I'm curious what issues made them change their minds. I'll be using my U.S. address for this, but still seems a bit unfair to those who don't have the option.

Treasure of the Four Crowns is supposed to be out this year. That was the first polarized 3D movie I ever saw, blew me away even at a crappy theater.

So MS will be my 3D viewing this weekend. Though I did also just get Aladdin and Maleficent 2, but wanted to do something else since I just saw M1 and loved it.
Four Crowns would be awesome!
