God dammit! I supported medium by getting Croods 2. Never even saw or interested in 1, let alone 2, but I think this got decent reviews. And animated 3D is usually good in general on home 3D imo, but I think this might be the first and only live-action superhero movie on physical that I don’t really want. It has zero replay value for me in any D. I am revolted at the thought of seeing this again. Maybe, if cheap digitally, but I think I can even wait till pay cable. I honestly have almost zero interest in revisiting this anytime soon. Imo, between DC and Marvel, this is far and away, the worst in the bunch.

Re: The Official "3D" Blu ray Thread. Now with Smell-O-Vision.

I thought it was one of the worst movies I’ve seen in some time. In a long time actually. It was zero fun and a movie that I truly felt I wasted my time with. Many, even ones I don’t really like have some, even remote quality that I respect or like. The recent horror movie The Dark and the Wicked. I didn’t like it, but it had a minute amount of something that I like and made it salvageable. The recent Hunter Hunter was a gem. True realistic sense of angst and horror and stuff that will blow your mind, in a good way. Most movies I watch are ones I know I will like and really had no idea what an unfun, joyless movie WW84 would be and like sparks maybe if deep discount, but I’m in no rush. Unless this will be rare. . As much as I was bored to death with Nomadland, I absolutely respected Frances performance and what Zhao was going for. I mean it was an artful piece. Similar to Roma (even though very different movies. NL is certainly much more raw in an authentic, almost too realistic way, but still different and kinda experimental) which I didn’t even make it more than half way with Roma. Well, maybe just beyond half, but I hated it even though love Cuaron and everything else he has done. Can’t wait to see Critetions Y Tu Mama Tambien and Children of Men again. Gravity, of course. Especially in 3D.

Well, if Wonder Woman 84 is a waste of time, at least I’ll see it correctly. I didn’t bother watching it in 2D even for basically free. I’ll watch it with all the other DC movies in sequence.

Usually pick up the DC 3D when it hits the $20 price point but for WW84 I am going to need a bit more of a discount. So disappointing.

Geez, heard so many bad things about Wonder Woman 84. Haven't even watched the first Wonder Woman yet which everyone seemed to love. Should be fun when I finally watch them (given my username, I do enjoy bad movies.)

Anyone have Wings of the the Hawk? How is overall? That Woody cartoon sounds cool. How’s the 3D for that? Didn’t even know there was an ep in 3D...

Croods: New Age looks like it got high marks in visuals especially. Story good too. Looking forward to it, but really want to see Silent Madness and Wings of the Hawk first.

WW84 may be the worst comic book movie of all time. I honestly think any of the Fantastic Fours (including the Cannon Films one) are better. I will check out the 3D version because it sure as shit can't be worse and some of the action scenes (like the mall scene and fight with Cheetah) should be entertaining at least in 3D.

Croods 2 is genuinely hysterical and good. The 3D and Atmos sound is super. Great popout and depth. Best I’ve seen in awhile, including any Disney, which almost always gets high marks in those dept and most of the time, rightly so. But, this sequel in Dreamworks franchise is surprisingly fun and funny. Not at all what I expected. And, had no idea about the voice talent. I mean I don’t know why. You’d think I’d know Ryan Reynolds, Emma Stone, Nic Cage and more voiced a movie together. And first rather successful. 2nd was during Corona so not sure how to track that.

But, so well done and fun. You’d think it was Disney with quality and story.

Finally got around to it. Excellent all around except for the low audio.

Technically sounds great. But, the movie and overall review?? Is this guy on crack cocaine (no offense to those who are on crack cocaine)???
Wonder Woman 3D Blu-ray. No, just no. Fuck me for getting it and it shall now and always be titled in my collection accordingly (see my link)...

People have differing views about WW84. The Rottentomatoes score is 59%, making it barely "rotten," but it still means over half of the critics liked it. The audience score is 74%, so about 3/4 of the public liked it. It's not surprising that some reviewers of the 3D Blu-ray are going to have liked it.

I enjoyed WW84 a lot. There are a few Marvel films (Ultron for sure) that I consider unwatchable. I love the new Justice League cut, so maybe I'm more of a DC fan, or at least I'm not overwhelmed with the quantity like the Marvel movies.
