Gotcha. Thanks. It’s not a whopping price at $27.99 free ship and does have some extras and really only way (rn to have blu). Saw a review that said PQ was just ok at best. Audio was great...

I've read that it's a rip from the D-VHS.

90% of the time I hear about a title released in Spain, it turns out to be a bootleg.

For films that have no other worldwide release, it's pretty much 100%.

I’ll naturally get bc I love TL, but do think I saw the dvd not so long, more than a year most likely. And it did have a few extras, I think, not clear, but I’ll double dip if US ever comes out. But, this will more than suffice for now...

So this is totally bogus? Quality akin to VHS? Where’d they get extras from? Too bad. Would have liked somehow, but premium cable HD is good, but certainly not Blu-ray good.

If it’s D-VHS, isn’t that a hi def format?

Not stellar, but should be better than a non-anamorphic DVD.

D-VHS was 1080i resolution, IIRC.

The HD version being shown on HBO and Cinemax looks damn good.

Nobody knows. It's a bootleg. Either buy it yourself or wait for reviews.

Oh my bad. I thought someone had with pic posted. DJ was just saying it exists, but I did see a YouTube review that said decent, but I also think he said blurry type of picture which not sure what that means, but believe he said it. But really positive overall. Maybe I’ll find more.

I’m getting. It’s a BD-50 and has a pic that looks like below. I’m sold for $30. And solid reviews at Blu-ray.com.

Re: Cameron Talks Avatar Redux, 3D, Titanic, Abyss/True Lies Blu-ray

You know from what I’m reading about D-VHS and seeing on some review sites for Spanish disc it looks and sounds like digital cable HD quality which I’m totally fine with. And, I think my blu-ray can upconvert to better or whatever so to have an HD quality pic that I love at my disposable and that it has a few extras just sounds decent given we have no idea if or when Cameron puts this and Abyss out...

Re: Cameron Talks Avatar Redux, 3D, Titanic, Abyss/True Lies Blu-ray

I already watched it a bunch of times when it was on HBO a few weeks ago. Don't need to spend $30 for a bootleg of what I essentially watched for free.

I hear ya, but convenience, my time, no dvr, and some extras are enticing...

I'll wait for a proper release. No way would I support a bootleg.

D-VHS quality is far better than cable. I've only seen compression artifacts on one title (House of Yes).

Re: Cameron Talks Avatar Redux, 3D, Titanic, Abyss/True Lies Blu-ray

if you can settle for a boot and a cheaper price this is what I found

Google at your own discretion.

The guy or company also has a knack for putting out all the Netflix exclusives on Blu-ray and the artwork looks real.

Spoiler:

I don’t know who did score for True Lies but I think it goes unnoticed. Great score and I think theme music for iconic moments and opening...

Brad Fiedel, who’s been working with Cameron since Terminator. He wrote the iconic Terminator theme.
